Please Make The Bolter Awesome!

  1. since this will be a sandbox game
    we shouldnt put limits to something like types of weapons in a squad

    hosk's idea is kinda good i think :)

  2. Then balance comes into play.

    There will ALWAYS be FoTM weapons depending on balance there has to be some kind of artificial block on this (be it resource based, consumables or simply rarity).

    Also it's not a sandbox.
  3. The requisition idea is perfect. Requisition could be earned from combat actions. There could be squad requisition, which dictates the amount of specialised weapons a squad can use. Then there could be a seperate pool for strike forces, which could requistion even more lavish battlefield tech, such as vehicles, artillery strikes, and supply drops.
  4. ya for sure there should be balance changes if something is to strong
    i imagine every weapon to be useful in different situations so all types of weapon may be used equaly


    the devs mentioned in many interviews that this game will be a sandbox

    They must not make "a" bolter, but many bolter pattern, with different mod/upgrade/combi/ammo

  8. Well it's hard to have a sandbox in a game solely driven around territory conquest.

    the more i read these threads the more i fear the Devs listening to half of these suggestions.
    Whats with all of these restrictions? who cares if a side is spamming a class? its strategy.

    Use strategy to counter it.
