The reason why they're giant AAA MMOs and they're successful is probably because people deem them good enough to stick with them. EC has the playercount of other games nearing the end of their life cicle - 4 weeks after release. Considering the content it's not even worth 50€ and don't give me "it has tons of weapons". Slightly different coloured swordgrip or a little gold splattered over a Bolter doesn't make them different weapons. Apparently they were fully funded to make the game as Nathan envisioned it - which was all things considered obviously not the case. If they released the game like that and it was thriving by all means have a cashshop, but right now it just seems out of place. And please gtfo with that casual comment, how is EC not casual?
No that's his statement, his question is simply if we have more. The topic and the poll are two separate things, I can support the premise of more loadout slots without agreeing that they should be purchased by RTC. Read the question and only the question. His suggestion of how to address it isn't the question.
Yup, and that reason is that even if you could swap between classes, weapons, and gear at will on the frontline, taking on a group of enemies by yourself is usually a bad idea and teammates even the odds. Also because a 1v1 version of Eternal Crusade would be boring as hell. I don't think we disagree, but really cash shops are inevitable unless you want to start paying hundreds of dollars for B2P games with no other forms of income. I mean casual stuff like Angry Birds and Bejeweled.
it's the pool of the topic is not separated at all, it's clear that he ask if you want more loadout slot for rtc. "we need more slot" he don't ask what we think about that.
He asked exactly "Do We Need More LOADOUT Slots?" He stated that this should be accomplished through RTC purchases. The title to the thread is not a question.
wait the OP has edited the title / question cause i am dam sure he mentioned RTC for the currency .... nvm must have been blind just noticed the question in the title again lol
Not to my knowledge but the title is the title, not the question being asked in the poll. He might try to use the poll as evidence that people support his suggestion, but he'd be wrong too.
