I think its more a hope that you can still go and play with your friends .... as long as you find another "group of friends" to play against
From a mods perspective I can completely agree with you Asheru, but sometimes this sort of thing is needed. Especially when the Devs are refusing to communicate with us. They aren't telling us anything, not even answering simple things that could solve a lot of hostility in the community. They are completely closed up, refusing to talk and put minds at ease. That's just not how you do things, especially when your game is as incomplete as this one yet was still released. They need to be talking and keeping us updated on what they are working on. They don't have to give us dates or anything, they just need to let us know that they ARE working on stuff and that they ARE fixing issues that we find. Contrary to what anyone would like to think, the concurrent players for this game are not increasing they are falling. The people who bought the game when it was on sale are leaving. Old players who have been with the game for a long time are also leaving because of the lack of transparency. Nobody is asking they release new content on a daily basis, people only ever want to me kept in the know of what is being worked on. That's literally it, that's what makes communities stay placated. Why is it that Devs never seem to understand that.
Who here's looking forward to for Honour? released on Steam on 25/01/2017 Seriously it might be a good break from EC, I'm gona give it a whack for a month or so and check in on EC again to see how I feel about things with a fresh perspective, maybe there'll be a few more bugs ironed out, less latency better net coding and optimization etc.
For one I wouldn't say chaos is "op plz nerf senpai"we have AC that's it. If we were to all agree on something all factions are unique in their play style and that is what makes them unique. For ex the original post is chaos op. Well we have autocannons that is unique to us. But then again eldar have speed, and orks have toughness. While lsm are the updated version of chaos. We are all unique and from all the games I play all factions have unique styles., ex take company of Heroes. Russians get numbers while Germans get firepower. Is one side better than the other. No. Because in the end they both have advantages and weaknesses that the other exploites. Currently as the game stands lsm are fine and I believe eldar and orks need to be worked on until the level of the lsm then chaos. As a chaos player we benefit from teamwork "mostly" because we work out if we work together we win, that and seasoned players of why chaos can dominate others. As for eldar and orks the same follows even with a lower player base than chaos and each other.
Tanks have a much heavier caliber of AC than the handheld infantry ones, if that's what you are getting at.
