At least it was more fair and worked a lot better for both parties than how it is now. When was the last time you had a good one on one duel with the current system?

There's been some instances where I've had the chance for a good 1v1, but because the system is so borked right now, I was apparently in a mind set where I couldn't win (i.e. using heavy attacks).
Most fights I've been in lately really come down to

1. They charge at me spamming light attack.
2. I tap d-bash once.
3. They spam into it, get stunned.
4. I roll back and unload bullets into them till they start moving.
5. Repeat 1-4 until one party dies.

It's not really compelling and I'm so looking forward for it being fixed.

Exactly I'm not saying Dbash spam was ideal but at least there was an equal mind set either party could actually win and it made for some pretty interesting duels. As it is now, not so much. So yeah I'd prefer the Dbash spam back to over what we have now.
