Please Buff The Orks

    I used that example for what would happen because I've seen it happen. You just can't make someone easy to kill in games and call it good unless it is a multi unit game. Yeah I don't care if 20 of my 50 sluggas die taking a point in DoW but as soon as each of those orks is controlled by a single player the stakes are up. People wanna play the game in a fun way not in a zerg die zerg die zerg die.

    What we need is durability, a balance to heavies and melee gamewide, and not to be balanced around the waaaggghhh mechanic. Those aren't remotely easy fixes but its what we need to enjoy play. They already got a lot right imo it isn't like the orks are a lost cause. And ultimately thats the biggest problem. We see how awesome to play orks CAN be and just aren't getting it which leads to a lot of frustration.

  2. The biggest problem is probably with the guns. The cone of fire should be compensated by damage or rate of fire, but it doesn't happen. The feeling is the shoota is imprecise but it doesn't even hit hard. I kill more with the sword.

    And here comes the second issue. In melee if you land the first shot you will probably win. Orks should be very tough in close quarter but melee weapons deal such a huge damage we get basically oneshotted.

    For instance there is no game against Banshees and Scorpions: they just spam their attacks and we're dead before we can react. You can see it in the last Zoran the Bear video: he runs among Orks just ripping them to shreds. They die in 1-2 shots and barel manage to hit jim.
    All melee damage should probably be toned down, and Orks toughness buffed.

  3. I don't know, I got the upgraded armor, the +1 stamina boots, and the grim trophy, plus a handful of trinkets, and things are feeling better now.

    I'm still using all the basic items, because I'm saving up to purchase an AV weapon- either Kannon or Zapp- but now that I'm kitted with this durability stuff I don't feel all that outmatched anymore. I've been on teams that are winning! I think we're reaching a critical advancement mass where more players are bringing more tools to the field to balance things out. I've certainly been seeing a LOT of Zapp guns, and even a few Klaws! No doubt, naked orks are weaker than the other factions, but I think now that there is a greater number of players on the field with a degree of advancement acquired we're starting to turn things around.

    Wot? You want to keep a respawn timer then? Removing the repsawn timer gets you to the fight faster... You'z one of dem weirdboyz aint'cha?

    Enlighten us on how its better to keep a respawn timer on the orks in comparison to having no respawn timer.

    You want the faction to remain how it is in its broker den a grot's bones afta ee smack talks da warboss ? Dat was da solution , no respawn, after litterally years a effort orks are still going to be a canon fodder faction, to zog wiff it all....

    Of course i don't want to be cannon fodder but da Brain Boyz up stairs seem to be going back and forth on the subject, but mostly back...way back. I don't see the orks improving drastically in the future, for months, but it would be a slight pick me up to have no respawn time.
  7. I wouldn't even mind being cannon fodder ish, but if we are, then we should instead of getting instant respawns (what would be the advantage of waagh then) have more players than the other factions in a match

    done, orks are right propa orky.
    fits the theme of the green tide, the guns are innacurate as heck and thats the way it should be for orks lorewise, the rate of fire has to be made more orky though (read higher)

    if we have weapons that are as accurate and same firerate as bolters we are basically playing green space marines. and I'm sure every other git would find that a nightmare.

    I do agree melee is borked as heck and needs fixing though, too slow, headbut stil feels a bit buggy.

    Yeah I'm all in for no respawn timer. MMM imagine Harkus. Dying to heavy bolters 4x time faster!!!!!
    SM`s would be so happy! I for one welcome the idea of being tyranide substitute! AI is dumb lets give a player chance at being target dummy!

I have a feeling with the way they are going about treating the Ork, the F2Waaagh option is back on the table, its the only thing that makes any sense now with the idea of no respawn timer and the way they nerfed us, but I am holding my judgement until after the Balance Patch this upcoming week, if nothing is done, then I going back to being a Spiky Boy, but we will wait and see.

  10. I don't quite understand what we are trying to give in a positive way. We say that orcs are not playable in melee and ranged combat. We say that constantly die. And we say : "well, you can do it more often! You have little time appearance!" THAT is, we are trying to pass off plus the fact that we die 3 times more often than all other races?
    Guys! Yesterday I played for the Eldar. Compared to the Orc's pleasure. Orko in this game cheated. Ignore this race. Let them all will not be in the game. And the Eldar who come to us here to sympathize don't believe. They just want them to have such cannon fodder as green-skinned.
    With such a balance of the content for the greenskins should not be needed in the future. Only this will help developers balance.
