Hey Crusaders! We're hosting a playtest on UAT Tuesday, Feb 21 - please join us! Where: UAT server - instructions When: Tuesday, Feb 21 @ 3pm EST What: Harkus Factions: Space Marines vs Eldar Please leave any feedback you have in this thread -- performance, level design, etc. See you on the battlefield!
UAT is still founder's only right in terms of actually getting into battle? Also the instruction link just leads to something that no longer exists.
Right click on Eternal Crusade in your library --- open Settings --- go to the "Beta" tab --- press the drop-down menu and select "uat-shipping". This should make the game download a ~1,4 GB update. Remember to select "UAT" when the option for it arrives as you start the game, for else it will just cause troubles.
I know how to access the UAT I shouldn't have added a question mark that was my b. The second question [before the edit I'll do was my actual question]
Feedback time! Harkus performance was... eh... Not good. My FPS was taking a hit and the actual network lag felt pretty extreme. Doesn't seem to be map related though, more player count related. Stalker Bolter was a bit over the top for sure, it probably either should do a bit less damage or cost a ton more LP so that you can't take it as well as be rather tanky. Falcons seriously need to do more damage, some basic load outs can survive being shot by the pulse laser and it barely takes the armour off of elites. It also barely scratches tanks. We still need box and drum magazines for Shuriken Catapults! Come on guys, this isn't rocket science. The increase in Apothecary armour feels about right, they are way too durable on live, were too squishy in previous UAT patches, seems about right to me currently. Spamming fast attacks to move / evade incoming fire, particularly with the Apothecary's Narthecium, is way too effective. It literally causes the guy to teleport and makes it nearly impossible to kill him reliably.
