Hey Crusaders! We're hosting a playtest on UAT this afternoon - please join us! Where: UAT server - instructions When: Today @ 3pm EST What: Agnathio Factions: Orks vs Eldar Please leave any feedback you have in this thread -- performance, level design, etc. See you on the battlefield this afternoon!
There is an improvement: Notice is 4h before the Playtest from 3h! Unfortunatly, I may not be there. I'll see what I can do.
You guys really gotta do something about those swooping hawk grenades. At the moment, they are too powerful and too easy to use from what I've experienced in the last couple of UAT tests with eldar. With how fast the swooping hawk moves (also not being able to see them on the minimap as they're flying around if I'm correct), you have little to no reaction time to deal with the onslaught of grenades. If the orks nearly losing while outnumbering eldar by a third on defense isn't evidence enough then you have to be blind and I'm sure that the hawk grenades were the primary reason this was going on not that it's an opinion thing, but because the eldar playing swooping hawk had the most kills doubling some of the best ork players. Even when you build the toughest character you can, they bring you down in only three grenades. The kicker is that there isn't even an indicator telling you that grenades are being thrown at you. You're just bombarded by screenshaking explosions and if you try to counter attack you end up dying, you try to roll away you die, you do pretty much anything and it's over. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but if I, myself, am struggling with dealing with these grenades then I know for sure that alot of players who don't play as much as I do will have no chance. Please do something about this(lower the damage/decrease the grenades you can equip/increase the price to 350lp/SOMETHING). If you guys release these new grenades into live there are going to be a lot of unhappy players who play against eldar and I don't see that being good for the health of this game. Another thing I noticed during the UAT which could have added to the swooping hawk grenade issue is that when I was able to shoot at the hawks before they got close enough to use their grenades they wouldn't drop. I could see their armor and health bars reducing, but they wouldn't fall. Am I missing something, are there only specific weapons that cause swooping hawks to fall or was I not doing enough damage?
Wut? I got a message today from discord about Asheru posting this playtest from yesterday. I'm so confused...
