One idea i had with the downed mechanic is similar to what a couple other games i've played have done. anyone can get you back up when you are downed... but there is a health debuff, so basically you go down your buddie gets you back up your up but your already at less than full health, and that stacks every time so eventually you could get sneezed on and die if you keep going down, but healers can get you up without triggering the debuff and remove that debuff from people they see

It sounds like were on the right track now, was in livestream 11 they told us about the new "medic/ healer" functions? ; if a healer "raises" you from downed state you can be raised/ saved again. But if a non support class/ "anyone beside an apothacary" you will die 100% the next time you get "downed".
  3. i think its a bad feature

this way a normal class can mock a downed player by simply ressing the downed before the apothecary reaches him
or he simply has not noticed the apothecary

i think apos should simply be way faster in ressing and healing him to full
and each ressed player should die if he gets downed again in the next 30- 60 sec
  4. i think only apothercaries should be able to heal downed men. It makes the use of apothecaries so much more useful
  5. How abot, norms rev to half, but apos res back to full?

Keep in mind Savi, that if an Apothecary heals that revived by a non medic player, then he can be downed again without instant death, thus preventing abuse.

I like the system as it is.
Anyone can take a combat lifesaver course, which can save someone long enough to get them to the medic who can then help them, or save them long enough to get them home.
I know the system doesn't exactly work like that, but it's a reasonable interpretation.
Same with Chaos, only with demon love instead of medical science.
