Her mother was a shield maiden like her mother before her. Her grandfather on her mothers side was a priest of Pelor. Her father however... was not human. Far from it. Otherwordly. By that decree (at least that is what her mother told her), Valka was sent to the temple of Pelor at the age of five. They told her that because her father came from the heavens in time of great need, she would have to devote herself to the line of work her family already devoted itself to. As she matured, the priests noticed her aptitude for combat and sent her to the clergy of Mayaheine at age fifteen. Finally at age 28 she became a full shieldmaiden of Mayaheine, a true cleric. This ceremony wasn't that... pleasant as the first thing she needed to do was bury her own mother. War came and she too took up the gear she was given throughout the years. She has had a few partners, but they simply couldn't stand her for a while. She would not give in to unnescesarry gifts nor to temptations of the flesh. She was there to serve and protect, to educate and heal, to be valorous and just, for the people. Now at age 32 she embark on newer grounds. Green eyes, short snow white hair (her hair turned from brown to blond to white in just 20 years, and it's only getting more and more white and shiny)
