Hello, I was wondering if this game will be released on PC first or will the XBOXONE version be released at the same time? Thanks!
As far as we know no console version is in the making. Miguel's one requirement for console play is that they would all play on the same server, presumably also as PC players. Until that happens, it's a no-go. There are a few other requirements that console makers likely won't acquiesce to.
I've seen it listed as being released on the XBOXONE on more than one website. For example: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/e3-2014-xbox-one-game-announcements-and-exclusives/1100-6420089/ Maybe they are mistaken?
If you go to http://m.ign.com/wikis/e3/Games_at_E3_2014 find ec down near the bottom in the w section it will tell you what eternal crusade will be released on also I am prity sure thos who plan on playing it on pc will get the game sooner or at least a chance to play it sooner If im not mistaken the founders pack will only be available to pc so thos who dont do founders will probably get it the same time every other console gets it
Good spot, as far as what has been released in interviews it is PC only unless bE or Squarenix can get MS or Sony to come together. Might have to wait till the 25th or next week when more info will be released, who knows they might have been saving that for E3 but never got a chance to show it off.
Square Enix already has MMOs on PS4 so I will dare to say that EC is gonna be on PS4 for sure, and Xbone is up to Microsoft... another user linked a new about how SE was trying to bring FFXIV to Xbone, if they succed I guess EC will have no trouble making it to Xbone.
gamespot is pretty mistaken when it comes to EC...you should've read their interview with miguel cuaron and the WoT in 40k.
At the moment we know this: The Founder program only on Pc. No Consol port is in the making at the moment, Behaviour did not reach an agreement with Sony and Microsoft so far, just as Corvus told.
at the moment the game is developed for all the 3 platform in mind (so minimal requirement for the game are the XBOXONE hardware) yes founder program is only for pc.
the only worry I have for the console portion of this is that Microsoft and sony will most likely not cooperate and make it a single server game BUT IF THEY DO! I believe it would be more beneficial to both companies in some way and I believe it would open up new opportunities for both sony and Microsoft. think of it even though people complain to each other everyday about there buddy not having the same console as them im sure they would love to play with each other or against to get some good competitiveness going between both. DOES THIS IDEA SEEM REASONABLE?
