When i read his post it seemed like he had a personel grudge against the gun itself, I couldn't resist.
Agree with OP, the fact that it took two shots from the shotgun mode is unacceptable. One shot should be standard. Combi-cannon. Shotgun, Cannon, tank killer, Assault killer, AOE mortar in one versatile weapon platform. I would have been "one shotted" if I wasnt squad leader with Aquilla and increased toughness.
Pssh, lets just say it straight out: We all hate the PC because we have had more then a few times where we were insta-killed after turning a corner, or getting random sniped by a charge shot. gg end of discussion. Though, I would feel like if the HB wasn't so god damn trash, people wouldn't care about the PC as much.
Last night in my gaming event, I slaughtered many Plasma Cannon wielders. Only once in the night can I recall a specific event in which I felt the PC was too powerful, because the corona of a blast stunned me so I could not dodge in the middle of a field. I DID think Apothecaries were too powerful though. Several times I got ganked by a whole fucking squad of them, resurrecting each other with only a few seconds of wasted time to shove their needle up their ass and pop them on their feet, meanwhile mowing down enemy squads with a bolter fullisade. Disagree that "everybody" feels the PC is overpowered.
Obviously, you're taking advantage of my hyperbolic statement, but *shrug*. The Apothecary statement was interesting though, since the same thing happens to me more then enough to be outside the realm of rareness. Damn those heroin inducing thugs.
True enough. You only stated everyone hates PC. The thought of it being strong is implied by everyone hating it. I'll revise my response to "Disagree that everyone hates it."
Not really ,being one-shotted by the charged shot from range is how the weapon should work,and its totally acceptable for me.However being one-shoted with the snap-shot/single fire when im cc with a plasma cannon user or 1 meter away from him is not! And then there is the endless TK by the PC...
Zed, yes it was but that wasn't most of the kills. I was one of those PG guys. We were just killing everyone with the charge shots since they refused to use rhinos. Not my fault. Use vehicles. If you keep dying don't keep doing the same thing over and over.... come on. There are plenty of downsides to using the PC and that is pretty much the only map I use it on because of the HUGE advantage of the supreme high ground on that map.
Plasma Canon is a tricky one. When I use it, it’s okay; when somebody else uses it, he’s a noob and can’t play for shield and I despise him. I mean, PC is like CSM vs LSM situation: when I play CSM, all LSM are cheesy lucky scrubs, and vice versa. I think I’m very unbalanced. I hope I'll get some fixes in the next patch.
