The Bullgryn put hefted his shockmaul back in its holster, a job was better than thrashing the whole place. So now the massive man did aproach the the woman eldar that called herself a captain, of a large ship. Caring little for others trying to talk to her or ongoing conversation" I am Kanud, Bosun of first grade" he said, simply stating the last rank he could remember, one he had on a small smuggling ship
Herchite's attention perked up at the Eldar's offer of a job, given that it might prove to be his way off the forsaken station he had called home for far too long. So he turned to her and said "Well, if you need a crew.... I would be willing to help out with the matter of ship security, after all no-one likes to find that they have a very dangerous cargo on-board." He folded his arms to make a subtle point that he wasn't going to accept her trying to mess around with his offer. @MetalDog4
<Captain Vatton> @kanila She gave a splendid smile to the rating at his offer. "Well that's very kind of you. I think a different dish for the next few days so I can get a taste for what you are good at making will be just fine. Obtain the supplies you need, and you will be reimbursed." @High_Adept_Zeth She gazed in surprise at the assassin. "What exactly are your talents? What role did you have in mind?" @Grall_Stonefist She slapped the massive bullgryn lightly on the chest. "Simple and to the point! I like it! Very well that is the position you shall have. But stick with me for now eh? As dangerous as I am, people tend to think I'm not a threat because of my size or I'm a woman or some such other archaic mon'keigh idea. It helps to have someone along who looks big and threatening." @Maleth The look on her face indicated that his subtle point was not missed....or appreciated. "Head of security it is! You'll need to find your own security personnel though. You won't be allowed to use the boarding forces under Ms. Adel." @ Everyone "Are there any more questions? Did I miss anybody?"
@MetalDog4 "Aye Cap'n!" With that the little ratling made his way out of the bar that was soon to be torched by the massive ork. "Now where was that place again? Oh yea it was over there!" After muttering to himself he quickly made his way to the only grocer that had the stuff he'd need. Bursting through the door like he owned the place, "Hey shopkeep I need to see the good stuff! Got some shopping need to stock up the best ship on this station, The Sapphire!" He placed his hands on his hips and looked around as if he were some big important liason for the ship, when in actuality he looked more like a boasting drunkard. (Your play on how it goes @BadDo9)
-Ashton "Ahhh thank now I shall be off." Ash said as she wen't off out of the bar and down the street to a lower part of the station to gather her and Domino's Belongings. She would soon return to the docks with a back pack and several bags strapped to her back and side and would soon board the ship. -Domino "Hmmm I shall head to the ship. I will be taking a look around the heavy weapon stations on board if you need to find me captain. If you wan't to find me better you may wan't to talk to that girl you saw earlier the doctor." He said as he left the bar to head to the sapphire.
<Captain Alea Vatton> @Vulpas Before Dominus left, he heard: "I expect a full report on the heavy weapon stations, so make sure you inspect them well."
< @MetalDog4 @Vulpas @Casavay > Lex, who had been chatting Avery up, looked at the departing Domino and Ashton, and slightly shook his head before turning to look at Alea. "Captain, I will take my leave to guide the crew who wishes to go now to The Sapphire." He says, before walking over to the Astartes and psyker. "Lex. Captain Alea's first mate. Which does mean that you listen to me as you would her. Anyway, The Sapphire is this way, come on. Let's go see what firepower she has!" He laughed as he led the way, Avery following him to the docks and into the ship. At the same time, Benes speaks again to Adel, again in Otthan. "Commander, perhaps we should search for more personnel, maries, security, engineers... I am not sure what to expect, but we surely need more than who we have?" < @kanila > The shopkeep simply huffed, and leaned down behind his counter to retrieve an ebony box about double the size of a cigar box. "Got some good herbs and spices in here. Better than you'll find on most blasted stations like this. Also got a crate of good quality Grox cuts in the back, and some fresh-dried vegetables. Just rehydrate them, and they're as good as the day they are picked on the agri-world. Stuff for bread, bones for stock, and other miscellaneous items included... 500 Thrones. And don't ask if I'm holding out on you, this ain't a gourmet kitchen here." < @Vulpas > {Ashton} When Lex led Ashton into the Ship, he told her to feel free to explore as he took Domino to the weapon control station. As she looked around, she would find that there were not individual rooms, but rather a some five bunk-rooms, with beds for 6 people each. Beds for 30 people in total. Granted, there were 18 crew members now, but that left room for 12 more people. Ashton, wandering and lingering, would hear a shuffling sound behind her, and if she turned to look, she would see a small figure dash into one of the rooms she had passed. {Domino} "Well, looks like we're here, Dom... can I call you Dom? Anyway, this looks like the bridge. You should be able to check the armament here. While you do that, I'll check on the other systems." Lex told him as he moved to the other consoles, tapping buttons and looking at screens, nodding at the readouts he was getting. Domino, meanwhile, would see that on the starboard and port were a las-burner turret each, and on the prow was two voidsunder lances. The turrets had close to 180 degree firing arcs, but the more powerful lances were fixed to forward fire. It seemed that the ship had adequate power to utilize them in combat, although power draw could detract from engine or Void-Shield efficiency if overused.
<Captain Vatton> She nodded at her first mate. "Excellent Mr. Lex, I shall join you shortly on board the ship once I finish dealing with the remainder here."
The Havoc noted the Captain's face, which was understandable..... However Herchite been involved in far too many Tzeentchian plots to gamble his life away with deals. But for now he had his job to do, so he asked the Eldar "I would like to fully inspect the Sapphire first before I gather up some extra security personnel." After all, what good was having extra eyes onboard if he couldn't see every last inch of the Sapphire's interior?
<Captain Vatton> "Unless absolutely necessary I will not interfere with how you run your personnel. I will hold you fully accountable for the security concerns however, so keep that in mind. Do whatever seems best to you." Her voice dropped lower so that no one else could hear what she said next. "And Chief (OOC: Of security/that will probably be his rank) if I hear of any dealings between you and the ruinous powers, I will personally see to it that you spend the rest of your life in eternal torment, do I make myself clear?"
