'Eadbolt simply took a single look at his Tech-Marine and nodded before hopping into the war trakks drivers seat and trundling it on into the workshop. "'UMIES! 'umie boy an 'umie...'girl fing', yooz fixin' da shop. 'Umie Nob yooz 'elpin' me repair da krooza. Blueberry Nob I want yooz fixin' anyfing else round da stashun, we gotz a lot ta do, lotz ta improve on! " Handy came skittering out of a vent with the disarmed grenade, several other Grots behind him looking pleased they didn't get blown up.

"Took care uv dis bomb boss, waz gonna go boom an zog everyfing! " Servo-baby carrier/harness was lowered and Handy climbed in with smug self satisfaction. "Good good, glad ya grotz were useful. Now keep bein' such an 'elp dem 'umie grotz fix dis place. " Grumbling his way into the back of their small scrap storage he started digging up pieces of suitably size to start patching up the hull. "Iz 'ate days like dis..."

With the battle assured to be over in the Cargo bay, Herchite told his team "Su'lan, Mira, I want you two to check on the rest of the ship, and make sure that the Sapphire didn't get boarded elsewhere. Haster and Tulak, you two keep guard over the Cargo bay, just in case those Orks dare to make another move on the Sapphire."
After giving out his orders, the Havoc decided to waste no time in getting Fiore to anything resembling a med-bay, given that the Tau needed medical attention and quickly.

Seeing as everyone else was handling the clean up work Kraig made his way back to the galley. After a fight like that the crew would surely need a good meal to regain their strength.

Once back in the galley, "Jacob, you here boy?" He looked around briefly before shrugging and started his food prep. Maybe the boy was with the Captain, he'd see about him later. He prepared some BBQ Grox, the smell slowly making its way out of his galley. He grabbed some dehydrated bread and began preparing sides of potatoes and corn. The crew wouldn't go hungry while he was around! He would make sure of that!

While the meal was cooking he took a moment to hide his needle rifle again as well as inventory his own personal supplies. Everything was as he left it, much to his enjoyment. No more rats! Now hopefully none of those attacking orks were hiding about.

There was a loud noise, surely some kind of explosion. But one doesn't live in the Dark City, where such background sounds are a sort of punctuation to daily living, without being reasonably adept at threat assessment, so the Haemonculus was not too concerned. He nodded to his faithful Wrack and glided forward.

There was more than one injured individual, but in Varl's opinion the most seriously wounded Human (the First Mate) was clearly closest to expiration. He shrugged a little and went along with the female Human's insistance that he aid him first, which was the privilege of rank and how most Humans seemed to operate. After a cursory glance, he administered two quick stabilising shots, temporarily clamped a major artery shut and improvised.

"Dras! Bandages." Once procured he didn't dress the injuries so much as use them to hold the First Mate together so that he could safely take him to the new laboratory and work room.

"Dear lady, you may wish to accompany me - I will see to your injuries once this man is stable," he said, absently patching and tying.

Only to fix him up, of course. He got the Wrack to lay the injured man on one of the work tables, scrubbed up and finally remembered to administer an analgesic. Varl was a Dark Eldar, but he was a professional and he wanted to make a good job of this, and squirming patients made for needless hard work. After all, the lovely Captain might be evaluating his results.

    To Adel he said,

"Dras will clean your wounds while I work, then I will look at them for you." He smiled. "Don't worry, he is quite hygienic."

[Trying to fix First Mate, then Adel if she wishes.

It took all of her willpower to maintain professionalism and not tear the ship apart in search of the escaping ork who had set off that grenade.

"Ms. Adel, go with the haemonculus, I need you ship shape as quickly as possible. Varl, I'll be along later to see how they are doing."

She kneeled down next to the boy and picked him up, handing him to the bullgryn. Like most of her kind she had been raised with a deep contempt for the other races in the galaxy, but since leaving her Craftworld that view had softened some what, she still agreed with most of her kin's opinions about the other races in general, but had learned to give the individuals she worked with the benefit of the doubt. And children were merely children after all, whether they were Eldar, human, or Tau.

"Take him to...hmmmm guess he doesn't have a bunk yet, put him in my cabin for now until we find him a place to sleep."

She walked back into the bridge and sat down, keying the vox on her chair.

"I need the Chief Engineer to report in once he has assessed the extent of the damages, as well as a general report from all commanders. Finally, we're there any prisoners?"

"Roight Kaptinn. " 'Eadbolt was being unusually even toned for an Ork as he set in to repairing his new baby squig of a ship. "Big zoggin 'ole in da entrance wall, cargo bay iz shot up, 'allways nice an smudged wiff tire tracks an stray shoota fiah. Me shop took some damage but da lack of anyfing uv real value means it naw too important in da grand scheme uv fings annnnnd we got ourselves a war trakk uv middlin qualitah. Got 'Umie Nob 'elpin' fix up da mess uv a boardin' 'ole, 'umie boy, girl fing and grots fixin' up me shop. Gonna set dat one servita fing ta patrol da 'alls an start fixin' up da minor damages since its a piece of naff junk an daz all I trust it fer. Fink I told da Blue Berry Nob ta git fixin' da rest uv all da fings too. Iz gonna submit some skematics fer yooz approval soon as we set fer sailin'. " Letting comms go silent on his end he delivered a swift kick to the arse of their newly revived servitor, sending it off at speed into the halls to start making itself useful. Equipped with a weak torch unit, plenty of small scrap and its own servo-arm it should be able to make the halls look nice again.

Being idle of duties he just twirled around on his rotating chair, humming a tune and throwing his hands into the air. Let's see how much non-sense he could do until he was being 'disciplined' but mostly he just didn't want to sit around and twirl hooves like some lame Earth Caste researcher who stared intensively on his research subjects. No, Kar'Vesh was a man of entertainment and enjoying himself.
