What's strange about it aswell, is that it has the same LP cost as the Gilded bolter, same stats....except the gilded one also gets the 50% spread decrease...for the same points....Whaaa?
They have different parts installed. Neither of them have box or drum magazines, which makes them immediately inferior to just about any custom Boltgun you'll find on the field. The Phobos' cost comes from the Muzzle Break which makes it a piece of trash; the Gilded at least has the Grip and no barrel mod (existing barrel mods make Boltguns completely useless outside of marksman packages). Overall, that makes the Gilded a hundred times better than Phobos.
well the phobos has both vertical and horizontal reduction with no downside, so it is better than stock bolter, but as soon as you have access to the spread when moviong decrease or a magazine mod it becomes pointless, i just wish it was a damn skin or could accept mods, hell, atleast have a competitive lp cost.
if yu cant hit anything with it, thats down to you, it is just as accurate as a regular bolter, as it doesnt seem to have the accuracy penalty associated with the mods on their own.
I spent £25 on the gun, not used it once...horrid stats for the points. I wish it was just a skin to apply to any bolter you were using.
That's a damn shame, I would have loved to use that with the Iron armour but nope we gotta have different boltor stats for skins, meanwhile the relic boltor gets better recoil and looks like ass lol
I, too, am most unhappy with my Phobos. Reduce the cost and give it something to make it useable, like mod slots! I get RTC don't have mod slots but this is a Founders Item; it should be different.
The cost factors mods that are already installed. Removing those mods would change the look of the gun, and the only way the cost would come down would be to remove those mods. It is and will remain statistically identical to regular bolters... We just wish we could apply the skins since our regular bolters can be vastly more powerful, even for less cost.
