Expert revivals, point defense, assists, vehicle defence, vehicle destruction, gate destruction. I'm not sure what else to say considering we're kinda restricted to xp actions. Capping is another, interrupting too I suppose but other than that. If we were allowed to go into class specified I would say things such as weapon kills, or weapon kills with a specific mod equipped. Veteran kills as a veteran and against enemy veterans too I suppose.
ok ... my 2c on personal goals etc complete waste of time... why? well since you asked, resources better spent on actual maps/modes/cosmetics availible to all not just a select few, titles .. where will these go?, I dont even think the guild tag is shown on "nameplates" during a match so adding it would require a UI overhaul and increase visual clutter on the screen, personal data sheets ... where would these go? how would anyone see them during a match or after a match, requires a UI overhaul, map hero ... winning a match isnt a personal victory its a team effort and wins can be accumulated by AFK players who just "phone it in" .. do you really want to reward these players further and how would you differentiate between contributers and noncontributers if you tried to, kill counters ... most people complain that too many EC players are playing TDM and not a tactical team game as it is, do you really want to reward efforts which dont necassarily contribute to your team winning a match, anything similiar to "cheevs (achievements)" from other games ... these have always siphoned players from preforming required team roles into chasing arbitrary goals that dont necassarily aid the team play in action, new cosmetics ... should be availible to all (even if behind a minor grind/pay wall) and not locked behind walls that may or may not be achievable to the casual player on the average machine, anything that adds to stats however minor as a reward ... this is tantamount to rewarding those who are already the better players or simply outpreforming other players for whatever reason with even greater power ... this increases the skill/power gap between the long term experienced player who already holds advantages of unlocked equip, practise with that equipment and map familiarity over the new or casual player who has none or few of these advantages
Complete X captures as capping class. Complete X captures(or get X capture exp). Defend X captures(or get X defense exp). Kill X opponents as veteran. Kill X opponents all together(during 1 match would be bad, because 99% of people are incapable of getting to 10 kills, so say 150-250 kills per week). Kill X people as melee class(no JPAs because f2p). Kill X people as X ranged class. Destroy X tanks/transports. Destroy X vehicles as heavy class. Heal X damage(only applicable when opponent damaged healing target). Rescue/revive X players(downed by opponents obviously). Git gud- win X games. For the sake of everything holy and unholy, introduce EXP action for squad transport driver when people respawn in it to encourage driving transports around and put 24/7 challenge for it!
XP for drivers, the guy who have hide the APC earn 5Xp per persons who spawns in it. Also he will earn XP for driving it, like 5Xp every 10 ten seconds or something like that, Drivers must be rewarded.
Squad Goals Reflecting Teamplay: Assist XP. Get a certain amount, say 5k plus. This is virtually impossible to do without actively seeking teamwork. Executions for the fun. Anything to do with kills is just counterproductive. We already have comendations. I also challenge the idea that pushing for specific match ups would be a poor choice. I think you could use this as an opportunity to A. literally formulate a tutorial for individuals, like teaching new SMs to fight Eldar with Bolters, SBs, and Heavy Bolters (intised by assist XP) instead of Plasma and. B. Help your dying populations by giving them a reason to fight each other, aka, Orks v Eldar. They can after all, choose to que for them.
For a long time about this I dream. Very often you have to drive the entire transport to save it. As a result I'm at the bottom of the table.
Squad goals won't do anything to players being incapable of utilizing them. Squad leader should be awarded to most experienced person and then that person could designate other as squad leader if he is willing to, not be awarded on "first come first served" principle. Lack of actual, proper squad leader tutorial also isn't helping.
Something along the lines of "regenerated X vehicle health" might be a viable task, as it'll cover near misses with melta teams and duelling enemy tanks.
Squad lead is something you can do once you have practices the game in a few hours, you must know the map, and be more cunning than the others, when the war takes place in a direction, a good squad leader know how to flank them ( Rally-->Strike as one). The problem is that people who don't leading don't even care of giving the banner. The game set a nice bonus for squad lead ( I'll do it often ) like more XP, more damage/health/resistance ( depend on banner ) And damn this banner is so cool !
