I know this isn't going to be an issue for a looong time yet, but I'd like to get ahead of the curve with this, because I am currently mad at Black Library for this exact reason. Please do not limit your payment options to credit card and paypal. There are so many, so many ways to handle payments, from direct debit to paysafecards and beyond. Yet time and again I just cannot do business with a company due to the lack of a credit card, which is, you know, BS. Imagine the scene like this: and nooobody wins in this scenario.
agree but i think for the early time after launch we will have limited ways to spend our money which will then expand to almost anyway to throw our money at them but maybe the devs will surprise us
What does the community think about Steam as a thrid party supplier to help with stuff like this?? They can offer the purchase of the game, orgional download, and access to DLC? I'm not sure of the mechanics of it or how it works Steam Vs Dev's but seems like a good idea to help open up the avaiablity of the game. So long as they accept major Credit Cards they can take my money lol. Fraxxxi, you should think about getting a credit card. Get a low limit and immediately pay it off = no debt and incressed credit. Plus they do come in handy when you want to make purchases. Easy for me to pay for something on my credit card, then online bank the money from my debit as a bill payment to said credit card. Turns into a slightly longer debit transaction and helps my credit. Then again, i would also not recommend taking finical advice from someone on a game fourm lol
steam would be immensely helpful in that regard, they'll take your money no matter where from, basically. credit ratings don't really work the same here in austria, getting a CC doesn't help you in any way except that you can now pay by CC; and I won't be getting one for a while longer. because I overdrew the last one too much for too long. fortunately I'm once again perfectly financially stable, but... let's not tempt me.
Hmm like an App almost? I dont know about the next gen's, but the 360 you can add Apss like IGN that you can easily access on the home screens. Something similar for your Steam account?
That is not said yet! More likely no because all microtransactions etc. steam gets a cut, and the developers of EC do not like that. So Steam more likely not. Agreed! Though I hope they might also add Paysafe or how it is called.... I mean since I live in america I do not have a problem as debit cards here are working just fine like Credit Cards, just in germany and such a like you have problems where you have so called "Maestro" cards which are like debit cards but not really working for online shopping ^^
I agree With Options in payment methods Useing steam with this game is a Great Idea But has anyone thought about Pre-paid Cards as a Option for payment
