On the way out of the prison, they had the fortune to walk past what looked like an armory of the complex. But what actually caught his eye from inside the room was the distinguishable red colors that were set aside from the rest of the black and grey weapons. Putting aside the still knocked out Navigator at the time against a corner, the Pact trooper wasted no time getting what was his back on and into fighting shape. It seemed all of it was set aside with broken parts and garbage in a cart, probably was about to be torched and destroyed. "Jerks." he said under his breath as he put on his snarling mask on. Even the heavy flamer's fuel tank was still full. "Wasteful jerks." he corrected himself. With his bloodstained armor on, pistol and knife at his sides, and his flamer strapped to his back, the trooper felt complete again. He happily picked up the woman again and set out with the Dark Apostle who seemed to have just watched with a strangely neutral face the whole time. When they got to the front gates, he was surprised to see people trying to get IN the place rather than out of it. And what a ragged group it was, other Astartes in colors he didn't recognize, and a couple of humans which only one was wearing some actual armor which was power armor. When the woman started giving him some rather nasty looks at him he shrugged with a look of bewilderment. "What? What did I do? I just followed you. We're out at least." he reminded her while the walking book went to go talk to whoever this 'Viator' was.
@Colapse "I would say Viator up top, Wanted to take a bit of challenge heading out and finding the command of this asteroid and detaching its head, Headed on a separate task then we were on. Picking up the Admiral and the girl." Fera said looking to the word bearer before her eyes over the prisoners, No sign of Valu or the any one of there team and it seems they would likely want a way out as well, Seemed the Astartes knew Viator as well a hidden objective or a coincidence... no, Likely something else. "I wouldnt assume a Small mutant dude with a bag over his head got you out did he?" Fera said giving a chance to reply before looking to the blood pact trooper and there main objective. @BuriasDempsey "Seems your carrying Admiral's navigator, You up for a ticket out of here and possible glory and battle?" Fera asked looking to the man, As she hefted her heavy bolter up. "Suggest you don't shoot at the guards behind us a few of them our currently under new carrier choices after running into us." Fera said looking over at the blood pact trooper.
"He is up above us." The Thousand Son sorcerer said now, bowing his crested helm and giving off a content sigh. "Who~... Might you be, may I ask? We'd never had any actual info regarding whether or not we'd find anyone of note down here, aside from what the Admiral had told us being her Navigator." He hadn't bothered to speak up regarding the 'True Devotion' - he was no Chaos follower, but he had no reason to go bringing that up, instead just holding his force spear relaxedly against his pauldron whilst he kept his back up straight. Besides; if he's lasted ten millennia without serving any God, he can survive another one or two. "I, am Ausarius - of the Thousand Sons, and the one placed in command of this group. Though it seems the snake there has decided to go on without us anyway, so the typical schisms of Chaos warbands." He soon gestured back to the others, giving a shrug of his pauldrons. "Though, I do have at least some confidence in the others here."
<Command center> @WanderingJester @DeranVendar @Grall_Stonefist @Taec @High_Adept_Zeth Moving after now unarmed Warden with every bit of intent on spreading Nurgle's love, Orghast found that he wouldn't have to work that hard to end Waltz's life as the mortal's health deteriorated in a rapid fashion. He was barely able to hold his shield now and the Plague Marine basically stepped on it, crushing it beneath him alongside better part of Warden's arm. Locked below it and under Orghast's feet, the man tried to say something but the only thing coming out of his mouth was wet gurgle, blood mixed with various toxins that now hurried through his body. Getting down to work, Orghast ripped through the Warden's armor with ease and the mark of Nurgle was carved on his chest, sealing his fate and offering his soul for the Grandfather. Man's death didn't come instantly, the ending was much worse. Laying down on the floor, Warden's skin began turning from pink to green, blisters and black veins popping out all across it before it turned into not more than paper. Hair and his teeth began falling off, what was once a powerfully-built man was now nothing more than a husk. His aging process was increased hundredfold, his body unable to resist the curse of years and once he finally died, he was just another skeleton who's flesh ended up decorating Nurgle's garden. Corbulus launched himself in the fray, finally loosing his composure after what could only be described as a underwhelming performance. He killed couple of PDF troopers with his initial burst of rage, but the red haze lifted faster than he anticipated. Khorne shared a bit of his bloodlust on the Alpha Wolf but it were only scraps compared to the favor the Blood God bestowed upon his chosen champion here, which was Gorzkha. Bestigor claimed the most skulls out of all warriors during this invasion and even now, he killed another trio of soldiers who were too busy trying to get away from Corbulus' madness, using combination of stolen shield for protection and his own chainaxe to do the work. Remaining PDF, caught between the Astartes and the beastman, tried to fell back but they met their end as Erelak shot them in their backs, the Black Legionary proving to be quite capable with both his melee and ranged choices of weapons. With the death of the last PDF solder the command center finally fell into the hands of the invaders but that wouldn't be the end of killing. Many serfs who worked on the consoles were left alone until now, most of them covering behind the workstations and hoping that the storm would pass. Sadly for them, that never happened. Viator, who also entered some kind of a frenzy after killing the giant bear machine, decided to sake his thirst by sealing the battle with an orgy of blood. Without saying a word, he launched himself into the helpless mortals and butchered them in most gruesome way imaginable, his thin silver sword lashing falling up and down and sending each and every soul it claimed back into the loving embrace of She Who Thirsts. While he was butchering the remaining staff everyone else, while slowly recovering from the combat, saw that the central console in the center started blinking furiously, those who had more knowledge in such things would know that they are being hailed by a third party. OOC Feel free to emote closing up of the fighting and if you want, somebody should answer that call If @High_Adept_Zeth Sobek interfaces with the console he could see that the scrap code is slowly degrading and that the station's systems are locating a friendly vessel, Imperial markings, inbound towards the station.
Corbulus's vision slowly returned to him, and he found himself standing on what looked to be a slaughter house structured like a command center. Blood and gore dripped everywhere, on everything, his body and armor included. It seemed that the Blood God had come to get his due, unwilling to allow Father Nurgle to claim all within the station. To the side, Viator also did his best to sate the Prince of Pleasure's desires with the death of more innocents, but the Alpha Wolf ignored him, staring at the chainaxe now impaled on his handless arm. Ignoring the increasing pain from his wounds, that particular one especially, he looked over to where the First Archimandrite of the Wolves of Horus stood above the dead enginseer. "The axe is yours, consider that another reward for your faithful service," Corbulus spoke over to Sobek, his voice returning to normal. He glared over at the Black Legionnaire Raptor, as though daring the other astartes to make a move for the fallen enemy's weapon on the ground. It was only then that the Alpha Wolf noticed the center console of the command center flashed an incoming message. He spoke again to the mystic, this time an order rather than a congratulation. "Hail the call, heretek. Identify the party on the other end and do not respond until we know who they are and their strength," Corbulus curtly said, as he slowly pulled the chainaxe out of his arm, slightly wincing as he extracted the weapon from his appendage. @High_Adept_Zeth
Gorzkha brayed in victory as the last of the PDF fell before them, he himself adding 3 more kills to his tally, though his wounds where stackering, and like Viator launching into the bridge crew to sate his blood lust, Gorzkha used his axe to cut off an arm of the dead, dropping the shield to have a free hand since he couldn't really hunch over with his hurt hip, Gorzkha said nothing or yelled in his dark tongue instead he simply began to feast upon the dead defenders, both for the taste of manflesh witch he haddent had in a long time, and also a instinct telling him that filling his gut would help with the grave many wounds he sustained.
<Lower prison complex - Introductions> @Uriel1339 @BuriasDempsey @Jorimel @Vlayden @Vulpas @Kalle @Skarboy "My name is Quor Gallek, Preacher of the Word, Dark Apostle of the Chaos Undivided," Word Bearer said, his lips twisting into somewhat of a smile. "I have other titles as well, but they are completely irrelevant now. I have been tested, the path which I walked full of traps and wrong turns that were nothing more than dead ends. But thanks to you and a servant of the Dark Gods, I have returned to the correct road once again." "However before I do anything else, there's something I need to know," his tone was now lower, more intense, turning his stare from Ausarius towards Satharn. "Tell me, is it true? Does he live again?" While the Astartes talked, Navigator pulled Kombuse by his hand and took a step away from the gathering of warriors, trying to distance herself from the vile presence of the Dark Apostle and the rest of the Chaos worshipers. It would seem that the Pact soldier didn't look that corrupted to her like the rest of the crowd. "Dammit Kombuse, you are really dense you know that?" she was angry but she definitely remembered his name. "Of course I led you to him but only because he somehow tricked me! Used some damned spell on me or whatever, I'm not really sure, but he made me think that I was leading us towards exit! So you should've spotted that and prevented me from fucking everything up for the rest of us," girl almost growled and lowered her voice to nothing more than a whisper. "I can take him out but I need your help. All you need to do is distract them and I'll do the rest. It's our fault that such creature is free, we must take responsibility and end the threat before it's too late!" Kombuse would see that, on the side her perhaps crazy talk, the girl was quite courageous, her eyes never wavering as she suggested a new course of action that would most likely get them all killed.
<Asteroid prison – Rock Bottom prison complex > @Jorimel @Vulpas @Colapse @Kalle @Skarboy @Vlayden | @BuriasDempsey Valu took a deep breath and then made for the exit. He unlocked the door and marched out, covered in blood from the Wyches work. With Las Rifle in hand he casually strolled towards the group, stopping next to Satharn. "Apologies for my lack of presence in the fight, milord. My vox-bead somehow caught the frequency of the prison wardens in the command center. In which I found this." He presented Satharn the Chainsword from the officer he murdered. "I brought it as a token of apology. Also I admit to have guided this man to us, because he was with the navigator who was our primary goal." He gestured with a humble half-bow towards the Apostle, still feeling his power - especially after witnessing it first hand. "I know I may have done wrong unto you, but I hope that my actions redeem me from any sort of punishment you could possibly think of for such transgressions." His voice was loud and clear, but filled with a hint of terror. Whether it was the gazing to the daemons, the witnessing of Quor Gallek, or the genuine fear of what Satharn could think for him to go through. After all, his grandmaster, the Night Haunter, seemed to be quite creative when it came to torture. Perhaps the most valuable lesson learned from his trip through the lower levels of this warbands flagship.
Once the combat had ended, Erelak looked back down at the crippled form of the enginseer, his eyes darting over its form looking for a trophy to remind him of this conquest. He noticed a symbol on a necklace around its neck. That was perfect for his needs. He kneeled down, and tore it from the body. He tied it around the bottom of the grip of his chainsword, both to remind him of his victory, and so that imperial dogs could see it as they too joined the machine man in death. As he stood up, he gave one last look at the body, and with a laugh, moved away.
Kombuse eyes widen at what the navigator was suggesting to do. It wasn't just taking on the Apostle himself, he was sure the rest of these people would help the Word Bearer. He grabbed her by the shoulders and mad sure she was focusing on him right now. "Ok, first off. No, you're going to get yourself killed and that's if he feels merciful. And I didn't mean you lead me to get him out on purpose, but you got us out still and I thank you for that." The pact trooper told her, trying to get her to calm down a little and hope she would see the reasoning of the Khornate. "Look, you don't trust any of them. Would you at least trust me?" He asked, taking out the knife and held it out handle first to her while holding the blade in the exact style one should not be holding it, the sharp edge digging into the palm of his hand. The hilt look like it was silver at one point before covered in inumberable stains of rust red while rolling up a sleeve to show off the scars again on his arm and on the palm of his hand. "Where I come from, this means a lot, and to the person who draws the blood I owe my loyalty to. Do you understand?" he explained.
