They can add all the hats and make all the bug fixes in the World but until they fix the huge latency issue they are utterly and completely redundant.
You act like a petty, petulant child. If you're dissatisfied with the state of the game (a position that I understand completely), voice your opinion in a way that doesn't have you coming across as unintelligent.
If you are talking so much about inteligence... I suppose you are inteligent enough to find my opinion in my post. But if you need it I can explain it to you more clearly.
No, I saw your opinions. They were just couched in so much pointless whining that there's no way anyone could take you seriously. If you want to critique the game's production and development, that's good. Don't stop doing that - honest feedback is the best tool there is to let the developers know about community perception of the game. But there's a difference between being honest and acting like a miserable child. I'm not incredibly pleased with how the game came out, either, but acting like you are is the swiftest way to have your opinion discarded. You're just shouting in the void at this point.
Ran into a nice bug on Maggon that I already reported. Apparently, you can spawn behind the last fortress as defender, but can't re-enter the map. It's just blocked. You also get killed if you run back. I didn't take notes, but it might be that they locked off the area when they modified hold the line; and now that they twiddled with the spawns on several maps, they reintroduced one that's locked off. Speaking of spawns, there are some really, really ridiculous spawn points that are a good deal too far from the contested point(s), or in unfavourable locations. For example, on Zedek, when A has already been taken, and the enemy marches on B, and B gets attacked, you now spawn in the right one of the two ruined buildings between A and B. Smack in the middle of the enemy advance. With limited lives. Can't say I enjoyed that very much. I mean come on, we said respawning directly on the cap is a bad thing, but I'd expect the spawn to at least have the same postal code as the cap. Lastly, another thing that irks me to no end, but wasn't introduced by the last patch: after dying, my respawn timer will tick down, and I will pick a respawn location. Doesn't matter where. The respawn timer reaches 0 and disappears. It is replaced by a loading icon. I can still hear the fight, I can see things moving on the map, and I can see the game timer ticking down. And it ticks. And ticks. And ticks. Then, after between 10 and 20 seconds, I spawn together with a load of other players in the same spot. Not only is this very, very annoying, but it also hampers the team in critical game phases when time is of the essence. I should think this happens to others as well. What gives? EDIT: Oh, and most of the Dark Angels' helmets now have black eyes, not the red glowing ones from before. I'll just assume this is a bug?
They fixed T2 cosmetic bugs (finally) at least, so that's a start? Diving in now proper, so we'll find out what else is fancy and changed I guess.
First... unless you are mod you are not in any position to tell me if I can make jokes or not. Second. You must be new here. Can`t blame you for thinking that on forum you are doing more then "shouting in the void" (btw. you answered so... surelly it is not void). So let me tell you. If devs would listen to community perception in the past of the game its state would be much much better then now. This whole capigns situation is perfect example. Like pretty everything before it was promissed for specifuc date and delayed. There was plenty posts asking them not to give us specific dates expressed in more or less civilised manner. Nothing changed. Want more proves about "constructive critic and feedback"? Look here. This is my favourite thread: http://forum.eternalcrusade.com/threads/performance-issues-mega-thread.60110/ This wasn`t just critic... It was even pointing them what they coud do. I suppose it was completly ignored in this patch too? Want more? Loot boxes ideas, complains, voice chat... list is longer. So my point is it really doesn`t matter to game in what way I criticize it. Only some part of community who would love to have "haters" leave forum so they could have no opposition here. Was my answer pointed in a way mature enough to make you satisfied?
Yes, that was much more mature. Also: by 'shouting in the void' I mean that by being so inflammatory with your remarks, you are shutting people down to your discussion. I completely empathize with your anger and frustration - I feel the same way about many aspects of the game too, being a Founder from two years back. But by being so vitriolic when you post, it just makes people dismiss the entire argument as another rage-fest. I think that by constructing your posts more like the one you just gave me, you'd get a lot more positive feedback.
Get your point but I can`t promisse you this wont happen again. As I said, critic is pointless... it is ignored. Few individuals are reporting me and some of my friends for our signatures couse they want to shut down the critics and righteous admins are upon our backs sending treads of ban couse signature is "Richards for Bladerunner777", removing it. Everytime I am starting critic thread about mods or delayed content it is being locked even if they are very polite and calm. So I afraid everytime I will hear total bs comming from devs I will express it in angry manner.
