This is not lag, this is all "intended" consequences of patch 17. Slam stagger is gone, which means enemy can move freely inside slam and get to your back and kill you. Heavy on tier 2 no longer counters bash cause it inflicts not enough stagger to do anything. Just don't use it. Hit markers are client-side. Also, hitting running targets is not even latency issue, its just bad coding. You won't hit enemy running from you even if your next strike would went twice as distance he would run. It takes 3 or 4 tries to catch running asshole with an axe in a back.
You're referring here to the vocal minority that posts about the PC to assume that the entire playerbase shares those feelings? Do I even need to point out what a tenuous and unsupported assumption that is, or can you save me the trouble? By all means, since you're claiming it's a fact that "most of the playerbase" feels this way, do go ahead and post some sources or references. If it's just your anecdotal perspective from reading the forums, then don't bother. Ahh yes, providing calm points about the role that the weapon served is clearly the same as saying "hurr durr you just have to adapt, anyone who wants it changed just doesn't want to adapt". Clearly, you have outmaneuvered yourself with admirable aplomb, and I salute you for doing my job for me and wrecking your own argument out the gate. Thanks.
in future is supposed to be like that: the plasma cannon is suppose to choise what fire mode use and what "mortar" arc have based on mods on the weapon.
So it's meant to have either one firing mode or the other, but not both? Well, that would certainly bring it down a few pegs.
Currently on the live, lag is so important and teleportation as it's unplayable. I was protected in a building, and 3 seconds later, I'm dead on the ground outside 20 meters from the building ... No way.
I would have to say it got better. Lag reduced and overall performance got better but not extrem in any way. Hotfix 2 that came out this afternoon made everything even better aswell.
