I have been wanting to try a new TF2 style game for a while. I hope I can get into beta soon! The game looks beautiful.
Welp i just bought the CE right after it was announced. Dunno what I'm gonna do with that statue though.. still got the jedi one from the SWTOR CE sitting in the box lol.
The rules for Overwatch: Few Warriors sit idly by when an enemy horde decends upon them, but let fly with every weapon at their command. Though such shots are often inaccurate( there's not much time to aim, and there is something distinctly off-putting about the onset of a bellowing foe), each has a chance of felling an enemy and altering the balance of the enemy melee before it even begins, infact, a particular lucky bust of overwatch fire can rob a charge of so much momentum that it comes to a stumbling halt. As soon as a charge has been declared agianst one of your units, that you can Immediately fire over watch at the would be attacker, it doesn't have to. but its often a good idea. An overwatch attack is resolved like a normal shooting attack (albeit one resolved in the enemys assualt phase) and uses all normal rules for Range line of sight and cover saves and so on. Over watch cannot cause morale checks or pinning tests. any shots fired as over watch can only be fired as snapshots. there fore weapons that cannot fire snapshots cannot fire over watch. Now... Blizared trying out a TF2 like game style... Gotta be fun to watch.
eBay is an ever popular option after a few years. Though, getting back on topic, the gameplay videos released so far make this one look extremely promising. This could be a very fun alternative to TF2 given the personality involved with each side and the variety of character abilities on hand.
Totes. There's only maybe 1 or 2 characters that i don't really care for out of the 21 shown thus far. Blizz did a good job bringing life to their characters.
Wait, the game is pay-to-play? Man, I could have seen it become a serious concurrent to TF2 or Dirty Bomb (given how many people from my friends list I see playing it, it's probably at least a little successful) if it had been F2P, but... as good as the game is, it's only going to sell well because it has "Blizzard" written on it.
