Other Factions Suggestions

    As playable :
    Dark Eldar - self explanatory
    Tau - self explanatory
    Sisters of Battle -self explanatory
    Imperial Guard -self explanatory
    ***hopefully we will see these as expansions/DLCs some day after launch
    As NPC enemy factions:
    Necrons(Necrotyr)
    Tyranids
  2. Domilyus Schlifer Prefectus

    They have acknowledged as Tau, necron and SOB being the 3 most wanted playable races in comparison to the already existing ones.

    I do believe they are perfect for some DLC content addon, except maybe not necrons however that may work, *Shrug* we will see.

    Necron would not be a good playable.by all books and CODEX they are far too powerful to be anywhere close to balanced for pvp or even pve

    I do agree on that part, you kill like 500 necrons on the battlefield and there is this one guy left....and he is holding a resurrection orb....

    I just can't see how Sisters of Battle and Imperial Guard would work in-game; they're both armies of the Imperium. Unless you roll them in with the Astartes faction, but that bloats the "Space Marines" massively. It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense having Sisters of Battle and Imperial Guard fighting other Imperial forces.

    Dark Eldar, yes. Tau, yes. Necron, absolutely. IG and SoB? Ehhh...

    Would it be reasonable to have these factions exist as PVE mobs:
    Imperial Guard
    Adeptus Mechanicus (Skitarii)
    Necrons
    Tyranids
    Tau Empire

    IG and SOB are hard to put in game you would have 3 imperial forces to fight under one banner other races would be in disadvantaged and it's stupid to IG and SOB fight against each other or against SM.
    Tau, Necrons and Dark Eldar can be placed in EC they have cool and interesting armies they can put Necron Lord like special hero class with high cost of requisition and resurrection orb can be limited

    Tau
    long range specialist with unique tactics/mechanics and a wide range of units/vehicles

    Dark Eldar
    cause eldar are possible so dark eldar should be too, they are equaly tough and agille and have lots of unique units and vehicle

    Deamons
    same reason as the above ones, and they dont need to ally with CSM cause they can kill each other without breaking lore

    another imperium faction would change the balance to much since they will ally to keep the lore true (very likely)

    But the low necrons have lost their sentience similar to the reason 'nids are NPCs.

    demons don't sounds to interesting, many of demons are low rank and many are not so smart except of greater demons and i doubt they gonna let Lord of Change or Keepers of Secrets be so easy available
