my point was that people said the orks would jsut come back due to ork spores being invisible and not something you can really shoot at to kill. but nids do kill them/eat them. but yea, either side could win. and i do believe that orks are TAKTIKAL GENIOOSES just like creed when they want to be. they aren't stupid, just have a....unique perspective..
oh well n that case no, if the orks had been destroyed already the spores alone would not be enough to create a wagghh big enough to matter in the time nids would eat the spores if that what you meant.
Orkish generations are fast and get faster the more Orks there are; you only need one Ork to survive and within the space of a few years a moderate sized tribe will have formed and within a couple of decades a small (if primative) Waaaggh will have sprung up. Orks shed and germinate increasingly quickly based on the strength of the Waaaggh field around them don't forget.
what you say is true, but chaplain valerius I believe meant he did bot like they fact people were saying the spores were fast enough to procreate enough orks to win even if the nids had already taken over the planet. That is why I said what I said in affirmation of his point. Decades is too long, is what I mean. at least if the nids are in a position of already winning.
They've found Orks sprouting in Space Hulks before; I don't think something little like a Hive fleet harvesting the planets biomass would cause an issue.
even a planet covered in millions of nids all over every square inch. as in enough if something tried to grow it would be cut down instantly,
Possibly but all I'm saying is Orks were made to do one thing even more than fight and that's survive they're like massive green cockroaches...or herpes. Afterall they were designed to survive a war with the Necrontyr and their Star juggling Gods.
The Tyranids strip the very atmosphere from the planets they invade. Ork spores cannot grow without an atmosphere...
Ork spores have displayed the ability to grow on Spacehulks; hurtling unshielded through the Warp. I doubt something as small as an atmosphere would stop them.
