So Boyz, now that we've seen the first major preview of our faction... WHICH WAS ZOGGIN' AWESOME! How many Boyz yew' fink will be comin' to join us now? I was initially worried that Orkz would not be portrayed accurately as the giant, green rage monster-apes that they are. Boy, were my concerns for not. How about those executions? Those were so brutal, so propah Orky. Every move with the Ork looks so heavy and weighty, like an Ork has so much power behind him and the only way he can solve problems is by throwin' as much of his power at it as he can. The casual Ork during the motion capture presentation was amazing as well, was kind of hopin' for an Orky Waaagh dance... But anyway, wot do ye' Boyz think? Are you pleased with how Da Orkz are turnin' out? How many recruits are our Clans goin' to get now that they've bore witness to the awesomeness that is Orkz? Or if you aren't pleased with the direction, let us (and the dev's) know why! And I feel I must point this out... Dem Power Klaw executions! DIS 'ERE IS GONNA BE A GREAT WAAAAGH!!!
The rokkit launcha execution made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Da 'Ard Waaaghboyz will smack the zog outa all da weedy grots!
I'm looking forward to the Orks in the game. I liked how the mocap looked for them, and my favorite was definitely the vaulting animation. It just felt so...Orky. I can't help but want the ability to just smash my way through it instead though.
Wasnt too big a fan of the walll jump or the climb, and the rokkit launcher execution could use a smidge of work, but the klaw was amazing.
It was an awesome mocap of the orkz and when I saw the mocap actor doing all those savage things like hitting his torso or opening his mouth between attack I knew that this was in the right hands.
I shall be watching it when I get home. Don't be elder pansies and start whining guys you're the last faction I feel I can tolerate the fanbase of
