OK, So we can all admit the Eldar are still flying, screaming, invisible, grenade bombing, speedster, OP run away weirdos. But how are they holding their own in melee with anybody? they should be super squishy.... Anyway Now that the orks have had an update, they are like terminators. if these had table-top rules they would have WS 10, BS 10, S 10, I 10, W 10. Their dbash headbutt is faster than any power attack so they always hit first, and their guns could take down titans. im convinced their medic guy has the most powerful weapon in the game. The orks have become the new Eldar in a negative way. I cant play againt Eldar or Ork because you just cant enjoy losing in melee combat to a little girl (eldar), when you are supposed to be wearing power armour (the best basic armour of all factions) and using some of the most powerful weapons in the universe. When will people stop running into rooms and dropping melta bombs/grenades while being hit, only to kill 5 SM's and run off laughing because their still alive. How can a grenade kill 5 SM's but not 1 Ork? I have power armour and a power weapon, the Ork has leather pants and a tool from the garden. Yes, leather-pants wins. The only balanced games for LSM are the CSM, who are mostly pre-pubesent smelly kids lol When will the SM's be worth using? The balancing in this game still needs a lot of work. Losing love for the game as its so difficult to play competitively. One game, i kid you not, Our top scoring SM had 3 kills for the whole game - That is BS right there
I will only respond on those 2 because the main body of your post is just rant. Their dbash is not faster than any power attack The medic guy has the same weapon as an apothecary which is vastly inferior to eldar and CSM weapons.
Pretty much all Orkish Weapons are bullshit. If your experience is that way, maybe switch to Orks and try out or "OPness". I can tell you that you got Energy Swords and Plasma wich are stupid overpowered and you got Melta's what are also. At least i get a little satisfaction from hearing about your suffering. Don't expect any mercy from me as a Ork player. BTW: You call for Balance but your Words call for unbalance.
What's with this omnipresent sentiment that Eldar should be like wet paper bags? The race has a globally lower toughness, yes, but you're not fighting guardians here. Aspect warriors often rock high weapon skill and initiative beyond marines or orks, and wear power armor equivalents (3+). They should absolutely hold their own in melee. Jain Zar will wreck Abaddon and various Primarchs in melee, statistically, whether you call her a "little girl" or not. On topic, though, if there even is one in your rant of a post: Orks are not particularly OP, no. They have some very noticable holes in their toolbox, actually, like anti-vehicle tools. I think most people here agree that the loyalists need a little something, though, yes.
It's a game, you can't just have a unit with basically identical durability, a smaller hitbox, and be faster. Sure the lore may say alot, but this is a gameplay issue. That's why Eldar need their durability brought down. You can't just have straight superior units in a video game. Same reason Orkz in this game are going 1v1 against Space Marines which is arguably against lore, is the same reason Eldar need their durability hit which may or may not be against lore. As for the Orkz. The main controversial thing is their health buff. They were given +50 free health for no LP cost. Just a straight, and very sizeable, buff. That being said, they pay for that buff in a handful of ways, that I'm not going to get into. Just know, that 50 free HP, is made up for by having "second hand gear" to a point. The main, and actual, problem is more of a wider reaching set of balance problems that affect all factions and not just the orkz.
That extra 50 hp honestly doesn't do all that mich for us though with all the super weapons going around. Still die in one to two hits from power weapons, still die in one hit from super fast charge plasma weapons, still die in 2 seconds or less to a heavy bolter at medium range. Maybe if we had better animations and less delays on our weapons I could see how 50 hp would be op but as it stands it was just a stop gap to attempt to cover glaring weaknesses that doesn't make as big of a difference as people complaining about it think it does.
They need fix Ork's animations, it's hard to recognize if ork's going to make a def. bash or power attack. (Also i'm starting to think about buffing marine's armor a bit)
