I also have a level 6 LSM. Other than the fact that LSM have impact mods for their power weapons, which orks don't have, and they have power swords, no I don't notice significant differences between ork melee and the melee on other factions. It doesn't help that you're typing in all caps like a clown and have no specific points or evidence to refer to. In UAT, chainsword equivalents get buffed to 100 penetration baseline and the penetration mod will go up to 120 penetration, which means blade choppa will become viable in the next patch. Power klaw also got changed so it is now the equivalent of the power fist. And regardless, you should still uninstall if a dire avenger kills your nob.

Being an eldar player, I support what you say to a degree. Normally I can roll and dodge all I want, DBash and all, but since out tier of weapon is only 2, most of the times I avoid duels at all costs. My chance of winning isn't that high, simply because I get one hit killed by pretty much anything, since pretty much everyone uses power fists and klaws. But let's all take a moment to be honest with each other. Melee in an ideal situation goes wel with no lag. Problem is this game is rife with it. Sometimes I can use my banshee or scorp and do the dance of death with 3 guys, and other times I'm down in a second. Part of it has to do with experienced opponents, but the reality is lag is in my favor sometimes, and other times it is not. The latency issues has allowed me as a fire dragon take out a dedicated assault class in melee. Usually I get some armor off with my fusion gun, but it's still mind blowing how a combat knife can take on a power fist, klaw or even a power sword. I mean I guess anything is possible, but there's a loophole there that is definitely abused. It why when you play vs and eldar team who knows what they're doing, there's like 8 dire avengers on the team, 3-4 reapers and a couple warlocks. They've figured out that dire avengers have it easier cause you can shoot your enemy to death or neath death, and even if they get close to you ,a knife hit will be all that's required to finish them off. You can usually pull it off cause you're way faster than they are. Just fast attack or DBash, roll and finish them off. I personally haven't gotten used to dire avenger yet, but I get enough tears shed when I play reaper, getting told to go f*** myself after the game by the enemy cause I gleefully star shotted bundled groups all game.
