Replacement teeth-tracks are found in vast crates alongside Lasgun power packs in every Imperial Guard drop zone, as well as being similarly stored aboard every Space Marine Thunderhawk Gunship so chaisword parts are as common as lasgun power packs do you really think that would be possible if the chainsword used vastly different materials and designs?
Yes, probably. I'm not saying that each Forgeworld has is own model and materials, but rather that there is a limited number of them in the whole imperium. And they probably product chainswords and replacement parts at the same time. Which are then send to battlefieds together. It's far from being impossible. I'm just saying that you can't have a standard model in the whole imperium. It's simply too vast and humans are simply too differents.
I said they play at civilization I never claimed they were civilised. They lost the Heresy in my opinion and don't even realise it. People tend to want to be the best versions of themselves though so I always felt relic weapons, power weapons etc were more the Imperium's speed despite the rarity they could probs mass produce quality blades
I would actually disagree with that. Orks, even Meks and Painboyz, are not that much cleverer than your simple Boy. The fact that they have knowledge about physics, chemistry, and surgery plainly result from it being literally hard-wired into their genes. They're intelligent in the same way as a computer is intelligent, which means not at all.
