There was actually an RP addon in World of Warcraft that auto translated your text to the respective race, to include cursing...it was awesome, and alot of fun to play with to see what the races say in place of certain words.

I would love to see this for all the races...best language filter ever!

Oi its ded eazy it is jus takes sum praktis!
  4. Also in some MMOs, WoW being an example, the language being a key part of gameplay used to be more emphasized back in classic days. People used it to talk exclusively with other people of the same race in game and it was how races on alliance and on horde were restricted from understanding each other. If you could translate it, an alliance player and a horde could talk via /s.

Also that script has been up there for ages but no one yet has tried to include it into any translator again. Also btw it was poorly made and a lot of it causes text translated not to result in cannon orkish. Honestly don't understand why he called it a Library module, that's a header file, meh, semantics.

If would be perfectly happy if both "huehuehue" and "xaxaxa" would be translated into "WAAAGH!". It wouldn't take more than that.

  6. Xaxaxa, haven't seen that either in a very very very long time, brings me back. Huehuehue is something I had seen a lot recently, even as recently as now days (mostly in the Dawn of War games and ork related fiction), pretty sure gretchen say xaxaxa and I recall "orcs" of fantasy origin had this written to be what they said in some early warhammer books, not sure where it came from originally, some say D&D or middle-earth fiction.

But I believe orks legitimately say 'xaxaxa' and 'huehuehue' to laugh rather than 'waaagh!'

The actual idea was to apply a filter to the (presumably) many F2P players from Russia and Brazil who have a habit of spamming "Huehuehue" and "xaxaxa".
  8. People from Brazil and from many Latin American countries where they speak a from of Spanish and the spanish themselves, "hehehehe" translates to "jajajaja".

And Slavic "hehehehe" is "huehuehuehue". Just because someone may dislike other people writing in their own language or indulging in a little non-offensive gloating or friendly hazing during games. Takes offense to it or find it annoying; Doesn't give that someone the right to try and force a translation onto their language because they decided to write it in Latin.

For instance "ke ke ke ke" is actually Korean for "he he he he" and thanks to english ignorance has been associated with Zerg Rushing. Although the outcome of that association on the other hand had a pleasant, happy and amusing ending for all.

"xaxaxa" actually reads in Russian as "hahaha")

And I'm also getting a kick of reading Ork speech, it's priceless when done right)
