Ork Feedback Thread

  1. As an offensive tool, the rokkit is worthless. You cannot assault a position with it. If you go around the corner without charging it every single time, someone sees you and runs up and kills/interupts your shot before you can do anything. You can miss from near point blank range. The charge up time is MORE than the plasma cannon, with a painful reload right behind it too, its the only weapon with charge up AND reload as its only option, unlike the reapers version. Anyone you dont catch unawares will kill you with their ranged weapon beforehand.

All the people defending it are boiling their arguements down to "its great when you sneak up on someone or can camp a spot and people walk into your line of fire. Great, thats basically grenades. As is I cannot see a halfway decent use for it, which is a shame because its so cool halfway would be a good enough excuse.

The AOE is currently much bigger than PC's normal charged shot, and it's very accurate in close range. The potential to be OP of the Rokkit is undeniable, just 1 mistake and you'll have the most broken weapon available to the Ork.

  3. Dark Reapers say hello. :D

The guns get locked out of being able to fire a lot it seems. Like just after a sprint or when I try to shoot a deffgun and just stand there for a few seconds. I dunno why an ork would take his time setting up a shot with a shoota or big shoota after a sprint. If anythijg I would think they would be able to hip fire WHILE sprinting.

Also I dunno if this is just an ork think but if you get hit by melee you lose the ability to sprint a lot. Makes it nigh impossible to do anything if a melee gets right on top of me from an angle I couldn't watch.

Actually, in UAT, the Reaper Launcher feels great now. The missiles fly very fast and it's dead on accurate.
  6. Thats on UAT this is talking about live. :D
  7. The AoE damage is ridiculously low though. Taking the 'nids target dummies as an example, while a direct hit deals 700 damage, another target right next to your main one only takes 60 or so.

And against a standard boltgun, you actually *can* survive long enough to charge up a shot and kill your opponent.
