You do realize that most SM/CSM aren't even using the Fist in this patch now right? Power Swords and occasional Maces/Axes seem to be the flavor right now. Eldar are still only able to have a Force Sword for highest weapon as well. Now that DB works reliably, Fist is soooo easy to RPS against. You do not want a Power Klaw, you want an Electrified Choppa. It will outclang with anything lower than a PAxe and does great damage/penetration.
Ork melee is completely broken for me. Just got out of a vs. SM game to write this down. - Spike knuckles DONT CLANG SM KNIVES. At all. They just went through my every attack and damaged me while ignoring my fast attacks. - Choppas (axe) never outclang chainsword users. I've not stunned them ONCE after clanging 5-6 times in a row (I went full retard on purpose) -couldnt dbash a Wolf priest while carrying Choppa blade (sword) - moreover, he STUNNED me with fast attacks as if we were clanging while I was performing dbash It all could have been latency. Either that or all of this a c t u a l l y happened to me during the last 25 mins. EDIT: didnt happen in this same game, but I remembered another thing. I strong attacked a CSM. He was casually spamming fast attack when I launched myself from 5ft and hit him. My strong attack didnt do dmg or stagger him, I RECEIVED FAST ATTACK DMG FFS. It wasnt an interrupt, my strong att already landed. I most assuredly know the difference between a good strong hit and interrupt from patch 21.
Yeah, I've swapped out my Melee loadout, because it's just busted right now. I'm starting to think Ork melee weapons have no actual Impact Force now. I had Eldar bouncing my Electrified Choppa with their freaking knives.
That's weird. I tried to use rokits and they are just rubish version of a SM plasma. The randomness of rocket and charge time making it shit for me.
Rokkits only work as long as enemies don't pay attention, or if you know where they are and you can pre-charge a shot before coming from behind the corner. AND you need some luck to actually hit.
Fair enough, what i did was just find the highest vantage point i could get at the time and spammed all across the general direction of the enemy hoping to score hits.
Orks have always gotten the short end of the stick compared to da humies, and even the space elves. I'd be really surprised if they were balanced and ready to go by launch.
People actually play Orks? I'm not trolling or saying they suck (they might, I wouldn't know). I've just never fought against them. They never seem to come up as an opponent, and when I tried to play as one I was in queue so long I gave up.
