Just for clarification, its confirmed: https://twitter.com/miguelcaron/status/479418128838189056 Greetings greenskins, in the newest interview Miguel revealed something very interesting (around the 4 min mark): View: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_zhttkdz6s#t=261 It seems the F2P Orks will be able to progress fully within the Ork race if they play long enough. Now i find this a good thing, a very good thing. The F2P people will stick to the Orks more rather than find it a "containment" faction for those who dont wanna pay (such rumors are out there sadly). How do you Ork folk feel about this? Do you think your race as a whole will suffer for it? Does it diminish your desire to play Orks in any way? Frankly im seeing nothing but positive with this, though im no Ork player and am not in your shoes, so i could be missing a reason why it would be bad.
Hotlink shortcut from 3:42-4:47. You gitz are going to be the answer to LSM numerical dominance, don't let us down Kind regards and kisses, Chaos & Eldar
Hopefully EXE can move a few players to the Ork side, thinking about it due to overpop on SM/CSM faction. Plus f2p. Dis nobz looken forwurd ta stompin' sum humie heds! Mebbe we get sum o dem pointy ears fer dissert!
I like this. The chance is bigger that the f2W players will stay longer with the game and it will attract more people for sure
I wondered if they would do this a while back. As a P2P Ork player I am all for this as it will encourage people to stick with the game and hopefully the faction.
Agreed! This would probably leave more serious, although not paying, players in the game. And preferably on the Ork side to keep the Space Marine population from not getting overpowered.
I don't like it. F2P players shouldn't be able to be as good as a paying player, even in the same class.
That was the common argument even before this announcement. bE put their foot down and said that F2Waaagh! wouldn't be anymore worse off than paying customers, just subject to restrictions. This is only a minor extension of that sentiment with the added benefit of keeping committed but poorer players in the game who will still come under all sorts of serious restriction.
