Do you know it its been posted for feature request? I know some thing similar like free upgrades or things like provide bonus armor etc have been posted but has the LP/AP cost reduction thing been posted? IDK where they put it as the old zendes help thing is offline.
I could have sworn at one point the dev team has discussed subfaction trees before. I know that Brent said they don't want subfactions to simply be cosmetic.
That was a long time ago and we haven't heard any thing since. The best i can remember was that they would be unique and wouldn't be cosmetic like you said but details were never gotten into.
If they truly want to let it stay only cosmetic, than there wouldn't be a point in not being able to switch it. The appearances in the store are cosmetics. Sub-factions shouldn't be. Also if the fanbase would like something, they will addapt.
One thing I would like to see it s when people are joining , each squad should be put by clan. People would be free to change , but Alpha to Echo , all by clan/faction. That would be really neat

Ah am from da Blood Axez and ah am pretty konfuzed, zat we all look laik da Goffz! Goffz ar da gitze wiff da Zquaremuster, ze otha Klanz look all different! We don evn hav da propa, zmart paintingz! (Seriously, Goff is the only Klan that likes to use Checker on their Weapons and Armor. If they simply had the Shoulder pieces in one color, that would be still better than we have currently. I even miss the Klan symbols on the back of our boyz. LET US REPRESENT OUR KLANZ PROPERLY AND LORE-TRUE!)
