My bad about the electro choppa misread (I read the thread title instead of your post). Just tried out a mastercrafted clubba with impact mod Nob against eldar. Against Banshee AND Scorpion I was still getting destroyed unless they were morons and bum rushed me head on, but against warlock and non melee classes I would sweep them up easy. I think that's more Eldar brokenness, but the fact is you're lambasting other factions OP shit but not confronting Eldar melee makes me concerned. Sort of related : Holy shit , I hate invincibility or deceptive hit frames. They need to make the rolling hitboxes during rolls reflective of where the models are, and remove any invincibility frames they might have.
So its right for you thats there is the only way to counter your charged atack spam, one weapon & only one move its just right? You hear yourself at all? Other case is that spamming just one attack entire match is trully funny to you?....
Eldar have 3 melee dedicated classes and 2 of those have better iframes on the combat rolls. The problem on the eldar are the same in all the faction but because they have almost the same durability of a space marine makes them stronger, not just the melee problem.
Ork dbash can be unreliable, especially with Pain Boy and Klaw. Often it does nothing in regards to stunning them. It will show the icon but they will fast attack through it for glory. I also tend to get stuck unable to roll. I found all chain weapons and swords tend to do this. The Klaw itself has issues with lunges not always working and clang being so slow.[can get almost two auto attacks in before klaw can swing]. Klaw should increase opposing klang time forcing them to roll, unless they have axe or higher. I agree the electro axe shouldnt be perma stunning. However, the true culprit is those dot weapons. Cheap weapons that guarantee victory in 1-2 hits. These dot weapons need balanced immediately.
D bash looks like a head butt. I thought it was specifically for stopping fast attacks? Using d bash is only way I can keep a space Marine from slaughtering me because they spam fast attack. That damn power fist though still knocks the hell out of me
OMFG, these threads by people who do not playtest. Spam right mouse button. For the love of god. It even interrupts the charge attack before it hits if you keep spamming it.

That's the game breaking problem by speeding up Strong attack charge times. That's recent attack speeds for Ork and Eldar that are much faster than attack speeds that we tested and worked with the first 12 months of Alpha. While some weapons are too slow to charge to be effective for the user in RPS(Crozius and Axe) the Ork build mentioned above and Eldar charged attack speeds are too fast for RPS to reliably counter.
I would like to keep the faster Animations. As it fits eldar, and it would give Orks the advantage they should have in melee. But lag / design makes this a little wonky to fight against. And there is nothing more infurating than having the perfect counter, but the game is like "Yo mate, whateva, take this stun and die"
The problem is we are introducing faster attack speeds without proper testing. As I said, we figured out what attack speeds worked with Rock, Paper, Scissors system the last 9 months of Alpha. You don't just decide to add faster charge attack speeds the week the game goes live without thorough testing without fucking up the viability of RPS and causing a severe imbalance. The faster(faster than all the speeds we tested in Alpha) speeds for these charged attacks are ignoring or breaking RPS. There too fast for servers with normal latency to reliably track, so many times you don't see them coming until AFTER they hit you. Because the charge attack is so fast, you don't have time to cognitively, physically, or mechanically react. And the nail in the coffin to the viability of charged rapt tacks being allowed to charge so fast is the fact that these super fast spstring attack charge speeds bypass/ignore fast attacks. The ONLY way we can have fair and balanced RPS system that works reliably is for all charged attack speeds for all factions being normalized from weapon to weapon. All swords fast attack and strong attack at same speed for all factions. All Axes the same, all clubs, maces, Crozius the same.
