I think that even the knuckles are on the same Tier as the mace/axe though, no? I recall the devs mentioning something like that during the EA period of the game, because they wanted orks to be more competitive in melee. That only means higher weapon tier impact level not damage though.

I am also beyond sick of their instant power attack charge. They are at this point more infuriatingly broken to fight in melee than Eldar.

The only melee that works now is LSM vs CSM, because the rule of RPS APPLY, which both Eldar and Orks are beyond.

Yeah, orks are screwed big time in the OP sense. Don't know if you guys noticed but we are getting matches against orks non stop. All the try hards are now split between eldar and orks because of how imbalanced they are now.

Yes, its out of control. Every single ork player is using the strong attack spam as its faster than the other factions FAST attacks! I am about to starting requeuing when I see orks (and Eldar). The only fun now is space marines versus chaos.

All you LSM guys I feel like I need to explain something to you;

If you weren't so scared of melee, you'd do better at it.

I'm not trying to flame or insult you here, there are plenty of players on LSM who give me great fights in melee. Generally though Orks beat you in melee because we have no fear, we don't give a damn. You guys are all tense and stressed and you can tell when you're fighting us in melee. Our headbutt is the equivalent to your kick Dbash, it does EXACTLY the same damage but it's range is less.

I never use strong attack spam and I don't think many other Orks do. I see a lot, a hell of a lot of clangs so I doubt this is the case. You just need to remember, RMB spam won't work because your weapons will break before ours if we are equal tiers. Once you see an Ork NOT attacking you, he's probably charging a Dbash, roll backwards and shoot him with your gun.

I have a small problem with the Ork headbutt being hard to tell when they are about to do it since there melee animations are a bit crappy.

My problem with ork melee, this goes for banshees as well is that their power attack is so fast there is next to no difference between it and the quick attack. an Ork boy will just run up to me and use the strong attack, stun me, strong attack again and kill me, I will have no way to block it, counter it or move since the role is pretty useless. I don`t have this problem against other melee build generally since I can normally see the power attack coming and move or use the quick attack.
