Attribute it to personal taste I guess ? It fit DMO perfectly but I genuinely dislike a lot of the proportions of the models and the textures look ripped straight from Blizzard's art department. Much prefer EC's take (or DoW2/SM). The concept armor for the Chaos progression in particular was beautiful though
Whats even more important is the sound. Big and green is fine and dandy but if they mezs up that classic ork voice everyone hears in their head (don't act like you don't) that would go way farther in disapointing fans imo.
If our Orks look this bad ass I may just have to go go Greenie as my main. My main was a 40/RR100 Choppa in Warhammer Online. That hood is very reminiscent of Night Goblins, i love it. While I am all in on my Wolves of Fenris, dibs have to go to the Greenskin lurking in my psyche.
Lol, I know I'll be playing everything, Wolves main, Chaos next, then Eldar and Orks for decompression to either get my flashy shoota going or storm in with a klaw, relaxation at its finest.
the models look great imo, it's the animation part that is gonna decide how this will look! no matter how good your model looks if you gonna give it a cartoonish animations like wow or dmo then yeah nuff said. we'll have to wait and see
