As for your question, our people tell a story to each of our cubs, though we only think it's more of a tall tale than anything else. Once our kind was hunted throughout the world, as large and more weaponized predators roamed the land. Then one day a warrior by the name of the Great Steel came and fought back, teach us to grow strong and train to be fighters ourselves. We grew big and strong through the process, learning honor and the ways of hunt and war. Soon we destroyed the others that would harm us and claim our land. The Great Steel left to find a worthy opponent, as there were none left to challenge him, but he never returned after disappearing on the far side of the Badlands. The tale say that one day he will come back, and when he does we will ascend to even greater heights of battle prowess, but like I said it's more of a bed time story than truth to us, but that is the closest I think we can answer your question.
