“Are you scared, little human?” Laeris asked his hostage cruelly, laughing almost maniacally. He pressed the blade right to its throat. Noticing the mon’keigh trying to push his arm away, he laughed again. “Now now! Don’t resist my arm, it would be a shame for me to slip and kill you so soon!” It had been far too long since Laeris had proper prey to play around with.

Hearing the human scientist shout that they should kill him, Laeris looked over once again at the two mon’keigh he had been forced to stay with. “Do not get ideas mon’keigh, or this plaything will die before you have a chance.” He said to them, rotating the hostage so that it faced them. He didn’t intend to use the hostage for his own gain, other than to feed off its fear of course, but it would provide useful in delaying the humans trying to apprehend him. Regardless, the primitive abomination was already causing more trouble than even he. @TuskatheDaemonKilla @Vulpas
  2. Lanius was not amused that the Captain had gripped the whip and was in fact moving towards him, truthfully Lanius would be terrified at this prospect. If he wasn't already swelling with a rage and frustration he felt towards the Captain for being so difficult he surly would be petrified but it seems one negative emotion was overpowering the other as he held firm against the Astartes. Though he could hear how the situation was deteriorating around him he knew he must finish this quickly. "Captain we do not know if they are true xenos or not! You simply choose to assume, I was one to think the Iron Hands would be Astartes who based their actions on logic and reason but I see neither of these things in your actions here!" He pleaded with the Captain though he doubted it would amount to anything. His mechadendrites moved his bolt pistol into his offhand as the Captain continued approaching. If the Captain got too close Lanius would not hesitate to try and shoot the Captain dead. In the end this Space Marine meant nothing to him after all and certainly the Inquisitors would be understanding when he explains how Varuuk suddenly went mad and began killing the scientists here.

Holy emporer on throne, On sacred Terra, How the hell did shit hit the fan this hard? Red thought to himself. A screaming non imperial human behind him, a Deathwatch captain that has possibly jumped the gun, a dark eldar that had been mocking them for some time as well as being sanctioned and it was Lanius and him trying to be the somewhat slow reasonable diplomatic ones... Red was suprised when he saw lanius Pull his shock whip on the captain and actually use it on varuuk.

The Crusader thought he was actually gonna use words on him in a attempt actually to calm him down. Then there was the xeno, who poked at them both calling them traitors, idlers, Red could feel a rage growing a hatred for a xeno he had had for him since he had brought on, and Damn did he want to vent it on him and to destroy the dark eldar scum that had been walking there halls. Move and possibly let hybrids escape into the ship or possibly let a human get killed by a Xenos scum Possibly try and help Lanius out in a attempt to stop Varruk from maiming him, though lose another human, Or go after that forsaken dark eldar.

Red nearly wanted to spit and tear the dark eldars heart out as he forced him once again in a hostage situation, attempting to raise security on a secure vox signal he would attempt to call a security team to bring nonlethal webbers, and or shock gear to help contain the room they were in and tho get a tech priest ready for a purity test of ones DNA to confirm whether or not they have been contaminated with a genestealer infection. Taking his bolt pistol from his belt he would attempt to hand it to the sceinctist that was behind them. "Take this you may need it if either varruck gets to Lanius, or the xeno manages to take me out I am gonna see about getting your comrade back." Red said to the scientist before looking to Laeris @Taec

"Alright Xeno I shall play it your way. Let me make you a offer of trade, me for the scientist, while I am sure you would do horrible things to him and feed from his suffering, I Know you could do more to me, as well as possibly securing a way for you to leave this ship if you say took me hostage and attempted to steal a ship?" Red would say looking Laeris in the eye as he did

Laeris studied the human for a moment after he offered himself in return for his hostage. What a fun game this was turning into. Although it was a somewhat tempting offer, there was more hope for him to stay with the inquisitors for now. Regardless, the exchange had become too good to leave. “How interesting!” He exclaimed, beginning to slowly move towards Red, keeping the hostage in front of him. “That you would offer yourself in return for this primitive. A primitive that you not only do not know, but is not even part of your OH SO GLORIOUS imperium!” He laughed. He stopped when he was close enough to impose, and looked Red back in the eye. “You do present a good deal..” he started, pushing the hostage toward him as if he was agreeing.

Swiftly, he grabbed the hostage by his wrist, and yanked the man back hard into his grip. “But I am having too much fun with him!” Laeris ran his blade down the face of the man, it’s sharp edge slicing through the skin easily, drawing blood but doing no mortal damage. “I decline.” @Vulpas

Gansukh was in lot of pain. White Scar knew that with every step they made towards the stasis chambers the pressure will rise and he was right. The creature was a powerful entity no doubt, its strength evident from its earlier actions, meaning that they needed to be extra careful if they are to take it out.

Thankfully, while the Stormseer was shielding his mind Frederick took the initiative and spoke first, trying to get the thing's attention. It was probably the best way to handle this, however as Gansukh nodded back to the human psyker in letting him do the speaking, he turned and opened private vox to Tyr. "Brother Wolf, I don't think we'll be able to win here with sheer brute force. However that is secondary. These local humans, I suspect the creature will do the same trick like it did before and take over their minds. Be ready for that when it happens."

Goreparan felt the itch on the back of his mind and knew that this so called primmarch was trying to get inside his mind. The feeling grew as they went down but in the end, it was but a feeling for the minotaur was trained to ignore such things and his years of experience made him resilient to it. The only thing he was unsure of was how long the pyskers in the team would hold up from the assault they must surely be experiencing.

“Only if you’ve been cleared, only if you make yourself dormant, only if you show loyalty to the imperium and the emperor by letting us do our investigation. The loyal will comply, the non-loyal will try to talk their way out and the traitor will deny” said the minotaur.

Phyrrus tensed as he felt the creature laying siege to the walls errected arround his mind. He was no psyker but he felt the barrage of mental strenght all the same. He was however quite certain that whatever the creature was could't penetrate to the inner layer of his mind, because deeply inside his mind lay a golden wall far more formidable than any non pskyer should have been able to errect. A psyker would have quickly realized that this blockade was not of Phyrrus' own devising but had instead been implanted there by powerful pskyers on the command of his masters in order to prevent him from being psyscanned and manipulated.

As his conditioning mostly calmed the storm, he was able to focus and asses the situation. He kept his eyes on the local humans accompanying them, fearing for good reason that they might succumb to psychic manipulation, as had previously occured.
  8. Tyr felt some feral sort of sixt sense growl against the presence here, you needed not have wyrdsight to simply feel the presence in the room, Though it wasent something truly grinding his mind, it was more his body readying for a fight to remember, then Gansukh voxed him, "Ill keep my bolter ready to bark brother" he answered as they closed in, "a bolt for a mortal and a hundred for the big thing"

"My name?!" Boasted the creature, it's voice seemingly shaking the very walls. However, it seemed the stasis capsule operated as intended. But the vibration was strong enough in the air to remove the condensation in entirety, showing the creature within as clear as if it was standing before them. It... He had a height that was equivalent to that of Guilliman for whomever potentially visited him entombed in his custom stasis capsule, such as Frederick - thanks to his proximity to Macragge while stationed on Calth.

And in fact the creature did not quite look as monstrous as one expected from the implications. Instead it was a man as handsome as any of the Primarchs depicted in the many paintings but yet significantly different. Instead of the 'blocky' face of Rogal Dorn, it was somewhat round. Instead of wide and sturdy as the smith king Ferrus Manus, he was somewhat sleek - but not elegant like Sanguinius. His muscles were well defined on his nude form, but not as impressive as those of Leman Russ. His hair was light platinum blonde to shoulder length, but straighter than that of El'Jonson.

"So indeed as I was warned it was removed from all records?" His voice was in clear disappointment, with only the slightest hint of anger. Maybe he did expect to be not quite remembered? But it was quite the opposite tone in contrast to his prior demands.

"Then let me formally introduce myself... I am Mendum Alvus of the second Legion... Primarch of the Void Tyrants... Son of the Emperor, the Allfather, the creator of humanity or... If the Word Bearers did not stop their preaching after his brothers punished them," he pointed at Tyr. "god."

"So... Will you free me? ... Are there other demands? ... I merely wish to reignite the ember... Of the Imperium. The true Imperium... And to take my righteous place amidst my brothers histories... To be remembered..." He spoke softer. Indeed one could assume he was stuck within the stasis chamber and was incapable of escaping on his own.

The non-imperial soldier guide gulped as his entire body shook from the tremendous voice that now appeared to come from within his mind, while the others were not being assaulted mentally. Although the presence became obviously stronger.

Varuuk roared in agonizing pain. "Even. So. They. Are. Not. Imperials. Flesh. Is. Weak." He took with every word one closer step. "FLESH!" He roared, the chainsword revving at full power. "IS!" He readied it for a thrust. Then various shots rang from the Techpriests' Bolt Pistol. Staggering the Iron Hand in his moment and pushing him down onto a knee, grunting against the pain as the bolt shells penetrated his armor and exploded in his flesh beneath. But it seems that he was getting used to the pain. He somewhat grinned as he looked up to Lanius. "WEAK!" His grin turned into a grimace and the revving chainsword came sideways into the right knee of the priest, ripping through it efficiently and with the built-up momentum it went halfway through the second leg of Lanius before the Priest got out of range from falling backwards, the sudden support of his right bionic leg gone.

The sudden motion of falling on his back caused the whip to jank back and leave the Astartes to slowly get up again, the wounds caused by the bolt pistol already cauterized.

"I applaud your bravery, priest." Varuuk walked over to Lanius, standing above him. "And your foolishness. Of course they very well could not be Genestealers. Most likely they are not. But it was a good excuse to execute them. A swift death to these people and let them die believing what they do is salvation compared what a re-integration of the Imperium would do to them. Have you not thought of that?!" He growled and almost spat at Lanius.

"The enemies we would attract to these people. The horrors of the warp. Xenos. Whispers of Tau, Eldar or even Rak'gol raids. You wish to inflict more pain on these people of a forgotten time than simply eradicate them, grant them the Emperor's mercy as an Apothecary would call it." Varuuk narrowed his eyes, looking straight at Lanius' own face, apparently not worried any longer about the bolt pistol the Techpriest could unleash upon him.

In the meanwhile the human with the bolt pistol handed by Red looked at it, and then at the situation at hand. He put the pistol right at the back of the head of Red. "Let. Us. Go. Or I blow his brain out!" The scientist-woman declared in panic, staring at Laeris, pressing the pistol strongly against the back of Red's head.

The scientist in the hands of Laeris in the meanwhile first had a glee of hope when the Dark Eldar was ready to let him go, before being pulled back into the dark presence of the alien. A tear flowed out of the scientists eye. Whether it be from the terror or the pain was indiscernible. But the terror was unquestionably present, yet the struggle against him was sustained, clawing at the aliens hands in attempt to pry them off. The Dark Eldar delivered just as expected.

Albeit Laeris would be momentarily distracted. Something stirred him from inside, his instincts caught somehow on a new presence in the system. Maybe it was his mind tricking him into a potential escape route, out of his slavery. Or, maybe he should listen to his instinct and make for a way out of this dump. Especially since he did catch Red's call for reinforcements. They are on the same vox-frequency, after all.
  10. Lanius found himself on his back with his right leg severed at the knee and his left severely damaged, he felt the dull pain of the aritifal nerves within his mechanical legs. Oil and lubricant leaked in a weak stream from his fully severed leg as he made the best sigh he could muster. Not his voice modulator but a legimate sigh from behind his breathing apparatus. “You speak with the pragmatism worthy of your gene father, Captain.” He folded his arms as he laid on the ground. “But I still feel extermination is a waste of extremely valuable information, these people are from before the birth of the Imperium. Do you not see how many mysteries could be solved simply by asking them questions? It is my sacred duty as a Scion of the Machine Cult to ensure the discovery of ancient knowledge and it’s preservation. I cannot simply allow you to destroy a discovery such as this. By the Unmaker’s glory for all we know they may even posses a map of stc locations or an stc on their colony!” Lanius said as he attempted to sit up, what was going on with Red and the Eldar being irrelevant to him right now.
