@Vulpas "Oh no I do not possess the Black Carapace, only Astartes are given such implan..... Captain!" Lanius said loudly at the sudden slaughter of a scientist. "Must you be such a brute? We have no proof of..." Lanius stopped his speaking for a moment as the word Varuuk had first spoken. Genestealers, an alien menace that was perhaps one of the most vile. He was not a master of the subject but he knew that they were capable of actually infecting humanity with their dna and creating hybrids. A disgusting concept and one of the worst parts about it was latter generations were able to be indistinguishable from normal humans. That of course is what troubled him so, he looked to Red as his mechadentrides stirred from beneath his robe. "I do not agree with the Captain's violent tendencies but if these truly are the hybrid offspring of genestealers we cannot let them leave this room. Prevent them from leaving and due to the chance that they may not actually be xeno hybrids please do not kill anymore until we are sure. I shall do my best to keep the captain from killing more of them, do you understand Red?" Lanius asked the Crusader as he activated the whip in his hand and moved to try and strike the captain while he was trying to slaughter more of the defenseless scientists.
@Grall_Stonefist Gansukh put Vaaruk on hold, turning his scarred face towards Tyr who he heard coming from the room as well. "Greetings Brother Wolf, I don't think we officially met but it is said that the blood of Chogoris and Fenris are much alike, spawning a warrior with different looks but very similar soul." "Help me now. My thoughts tell me to inform the Captain of the situation here and wait for his order, but my instincts tell me to push on, find this Hive-Primarch and deal with it ourself. You were here longer, in this Deathwatch Team. What do you think we should do?"
"Indeed I can see your point, about taking orders from someone you see and can meet and talk to, Though with the imperium, Its one of the largest empires in mankinds history, While I may never meet the emperor in person in my life time, I must hold my trust and faith to others that have served him and the imperium like myself, Like say a planet all working under a plantery governor, While not all the people may meet the governor or ever get to speek to him though at least see him they all know that working under him will help benefit the planet, Now this on the size of being mankind is quite a harder en-devour, and occasionally there are those that try to corrupt or break the system for themselves that why there are others to help fix the imperium. It is everyone working together in a way for the greater good of mankind the best way I think I can describe it, " Red said he knew there was some trouble of him describing his hand on his helmet almost as if he was brushing his chin. When he heard the captain say genestealers he was still somewhat calm, Understanding the situation was still in control. Until Vaaruk got a hold of his chainsaw and began chainsawing down humans honorably. "Vaaruk! What in the name of the emporer are you doing!?" Red yelled he heard the words of genestealer and understand what it could mean but there needed evidence before action. looking to Lanius he nodded to the Techpriest. @TuskatheDaemonKilla "Got it I'll try to keep the door closed and the people safe." Grabbing his shield he would keep his hammed and bolt pistol at his side moving to the door quickly as he could to keep it blocked and try to keep the people safe.
After the first threats for his comments, Laeris had moved as far away as he could out of boredom. These primitive humans, so far below the ones who had captured him, and he couldn’t even laugh. However he became interested again when the mon’keigh activated his disgusting weapon, and said genestealer. Laeris turned just in time to witness the chainsword carve through one of the humans. Although he loathed helping out humans, this was an amusement he could not pass up. Drawing his knife, he leapt across the room at high speed, landing gracefully next to Vaaruk. He turned to look at the other two members who were shocked at what was happening. “Is it not your duty to help slay the ‘xenos’” he joked at them. “Wouldn’t standing by, or even helping keep them safe make you some form of traitor?” @Vulpas @TuskatheDaemonKilla He laughed before looking around for one of the humans who had made comments earlier. He jumped at one of them, landing behind him and putting the knife across his neck. “This will be fun!” He said to the man, intending to play with it.
'It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance miss Lu Croix. If you would pardon my friend's outburst he like most of us feels strongly about accomplishing our goals, in the great scheme of things while it is easy to dismiss faith during a lifetime of peace during war man needs a higher power to offer spiritual comfort against the alien horror, one we find in the God Emperor. We leave logic and reason to the minds of the Adeptus Mechanicus who are not present.' Then Frederick received the vox from Captain Varuuk, he raised his free hand to his ear in order to hear more clearly and his expression very quickly darkened. Then he jolted as he realized there was the familiar unwanted presence of death like he had sensed back on Calths orbit in the air his free hand reached for his force stave to brace himself again as he attempted to dispel the notion. Shaking off the feeling he spoke professionally again though it was hard to hide his desire to leave right now. 'It would be wrong though to assume that we are not prepared for combat, so therefore I request we be taken to the Hive Primarch stasis facility if you please?'
@Colapse "And greetings to you follow hunter, its not all of your brothers who speak so gladly simularities when it comes to hoering our hearths." Tyr said at first, before contenuing "The captain isent allways the most predictable, but it is not by his Will that we have to suffer xeno amongst us, but im sure he will back the idea of swift action, this so called hive-primarch must be located and destroyed, tell him we shall push on, if we strike swiftly, we might have the element of surprise on our hands, Im sure none present have any idea of our true capabilities"
@Grall_Stonefist "It is the duty of Stormseer such as me to help foster such ties and grow them even stronger. The dark times that we are in now have found many of my Chapter brothers tested, we do not laugh as often as we did in the past." "I understand that it is the Inquisitors who are in charge of this task, but I will share my concerns with you. I suspect, I'm almost sure of it by now, that the person behind the mayhem aboard the Ultramarines station was a member of our retinue, the Eldar that goes by the name of Alnar. So far, him nor the other alien pirate have given anything of value to our cause and I'm beginning to wonder why are they here at all and why is their presence tolerated when they are proving to be nothing but a hindrance. I know you already know this, but watch your back when we reach this hive-primarch, the Eldar will undoubtedly use any sort of commotion to further his own agenda and whatever that is, it won't be in our best interest." "But let us listen to your advice and push onward. Turn this breeze into a proper storm," Gansukh said and started walking towards the stasis chambers, following the psychic residue left by whatever the hive-primarch creature was. After couple of moments he reconnected the link with Vaaruk in the orbit, not wanting to keep the Captain waiting any longer. "We are moving in to engage the hostile organism. Stand by for further information."
Longfang, with arms crossed and huffing at the thought of something that seemed to be unkillable, straightened when it was about time to leave. He stayed silent, weapons slung and sheathed, but he would move along with the group to see what they were dealing with.

The stormseer and the rest of the deployed force would hear. Frederick would initiate what the group already would have to do anyway, which resulted with everyone gathering around him. And out of necessity also Alnar, as he had no chance to stay behind with Tyr keeping a suspicious eye on him since Gansukh's heeding. And besides, if they all died here - then he would not be able to live until his kin would arrive. Lu Croix tilted her head at the group, then nodded. "Very well." She snipped her fingers and a nearby soldier hurried to the group. "To the stasis chamber with them. Take a squad of Field Engineers with you. I want everything on lockdown as you go down. Give us as much time to prepare for a last stand and to evacuate the civilians as you can." She instructed him. The Soldier gave a swift salute and led the group onward. Automatically, the requested field engineers gathering on his flanks. The group would be led through a wide hallway, enough to fit a chimera, and for a long while. The soldiers had broken out into a jog, and the Astartes along their mortal human and alien companions followed tightly. It was quite a long way just straight forward. There were many forking paths with various signages to all sorts of facilities. It was a bit strange why one would need such thorough facility just for military purposes. Maybe it was a self-sufficient military base? Those thoughts might have easily doubled when the group reached a huge complex what they could only imagine to be the center of the facility. There was a staircase leading into the center to a wide circular platform with roughly a 3 foot barricade around it so things wouldn't just fall off. It was a vertical tunnel with a massive freight lift in the center, almost akin to an oversized missile launcher. If one was to look above, there were at least fifteen levels above them. Each level probably as deep reaching as the one they stood in. But when one looked down... It was a bottomless pit. The lights of the various levels along flashing. Maybe it was a hundred levels down. And if one assumed at least 15 feet height per level, one was looking at at least 1500 feet going down. The question was, did these humans build this to shove this 'Hive Primarch' deep underground, or was this once part of the original Adeptus Mechanicus facility? Or something different all together? The group was led onto the center platform which could host an entire company of Space Marines, including Dreadnoughts and at least two Predator Tanks. It looked whimsical to have such oversized elevator for such little amount of people. The elevator started to move, steady and at a solid speed. Not too fast to lose footing, not too slow to wish to have taken the stairs instead. At fifty or so levels down, the elevator came to a stop. The field engineers ran across and the one soldier from earlier stuck with the group. "The whole facility will be under lockdown. The only way out will be the emergency power generator on this elevator, or taking the ladders and stairs. The facility is too far deep down to have accurate teleportation lock-ons. Unless you find another way out... I fear you will have to defeat this beast and expect not to get away." He warned them, his voice softer, his breath shorter. Fear. Sooner rather than later the platform arrived on the bottom of the facility. The areas that were not illuminated by light reeking of the unnatural darkness, as if eyes within were hiding, staring. The soldier led on with shaky legs, but not wishing to disappoint his hosts, nor Lu Croix. The Catachani would feel untouched by it, as he was plenty used of the invisible predators in the jungles of his homeworld. Phyrrus would feel uneasy, being used to not know who stares or listens, but not with that... Undertone. Frederick on the other hand comprehended what neither of them could even sense in the slightest. The whispers trying to reach out to him, but nullified by his adamant will, not even daring to listen to them. Amongst the Astartes, Tyr had the same excitement for a good fight inside of his heart and soul like every Executioner of the Emperor that hailed from his chapter. Goreparan felt the itch in the back of his head that he knew would be unable to scratch. The presence had interest in him, maybe his talent as an Apothecary? But Gansukh. Oh Gansukh the Stormseer. He knew. The eyes were here because of him. He led the fight, he inspired the others to rise instead of run. The presence, the supposed primarch knew. And Gansukh knew that it knew. He felt it searching, looking at the slightest tell of what Gansukh cherished. Alas, the beast probably already knew - it was his comrades, it was the weakness of all humans. And just as they were entering the stasis halls they had to realize that the prior assumptions were false at best. Thousands upon thousands of stasis capsules rowed and stacked on each other. This was either part of a colonization attempt, or part of whatever the Adeptus Mechanicus used to do here. And amidst all the empty stasis capsules, there was one that was active, lights in front of it glowing in a blue hue, the glass being covered in frost, making it unable to look inside. It was identical to the vision that Gansukh and Frederick had shared prior to their deployment. Though, what was the group now to do? "Free me... Let me rejoin the Imperium... The Emperor needs his loyal sons more than ever... The Great Crusade shall be renewed... Just release me... Take me to Terra... Let me talk to my father and rekindle the light of Humanity...." The voice was pleading, yet demanding, yet... Asking. It was unnatural, as the physical body was frozen, but the mind was free of such limitations. ~~ The Darkest Night - Narrator - Back On-Board~~ @Maleth - Felthernia Nar'Therena, Starlen (F) Assassin @Taec - Laeris, Dark Eldar (M) Trueborn ----- @Vulpas - Red Tarsinis, Human (M) Crusader @TuskatheDaemonKilla - Lanius Skyruss, Human (M) Tech Priest "Affirmative Gansukh." Varuuk replied to the vox-bead, before grunting at Lanius' resistance. Surprisingly the only one actually doing the proper thing was Laeris. "By chance, have you fought in the Battle of Duriel, Dark Eldar?" He asked in curiosity before the whip from Lanius came right at the Deathwatch Captain. Varuuk caught it with his hand, very well aware of what it was capable of doing. He endured the tremendously powerful electroshock that filled his body, gritting his teeth at the pain as he moved forward towards Lanius, each step heavy but calculated. Chainsword whirring and using Varuuk's body as conductor to be filled with an electrical field. "Do. Not. Suffer. The. Xenos. To. Live." He said, with every step. It would be a gamble for Lanius to see if he could knock the captain out before he got close enough for an assault. But the Mechanicus member certainly should come up with a plan b - just in case. Laeris just then would have taken one of the scientists as hostage, knife to the throat, the civilian dared not to move one bit with the head, but trying to pry the arm of the alien off. The scientist near Red hid behind him. "What the hell is going on?!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, confused overall and in clear terror of the situation. The only other still living member was the lead doctor in charge who managed in the chaos to slip away and resurge near Red who seemed dedicated in protecting them from the crazed mutant and the alien. "You will have to kill the alien before he kills Jean!" Dr. Leonard-Pierre Giraudoux attempted to instruct the crusader, pointing at Laeris the Dark Eldar.
Proceeding in silence and still sensing the psychic presence of Francian life nearby Cooper yet maintained his facade of blindness, he let the force stave guide his steps keeping head bowed as he followed the group. His brow furrowed and his eyes draw tighter shut as he passed through a realm of temptation and he once again reached for his Aquila charm as with some effort he chased away dark voices seeking his conscious thought. His free hand reached for his laspistol that he had kept holstered up to this point, he winced slightly as a sliver of doubt crept into his mind saying it was no longer there, merely grasping the weapon had eliminated that fear. Eventually the retinue had halted and Frederick rather acting ponderous stopped himself. He raised his head as he felt the chill of the chamber and took a back step as he detected the familiar enormous psychic power of the entity that had practically guided them here. He slanted his force stave across his chest and held it with both hands as he bravely stepped forward again, he knew some of the lore of the Emperor's sons and he had the perfect question to ask. He swallowed despite the lump forming in his throat as he dared to quiz the hive primarch, he spoke loudly and with clarity half expecting to be met with a blast of wrathful psychic energy. 'What is your name, your Legion and your number Primarch? let us know who you are if you are who you claim you are.' As he spoke Frederick gestured in the general direction of Gansukh @Colapse desiring his support on his inquiry.
