Alnar had been standing arms crossed the whole time. It wasn't like his word meant anything here, these humans seemed to have made up their mind already. Where Laeris got ready for a fight, Alnar just rolled his eyes and sighed in frustration at their welcoming party. "Trade a collar to shackles, I will never be able to forget this humiliation..." He muttered and cracked his neck. He wasn't comfortable being in relative spotlight.
Lanius turned his head towards the space marine which was speaking as he heard his name spoken. "I can indeed provide insight into such technological matters. I my also comment that the xenos or 'aliens' are my responsibility during all proceedings here. I must say your are rather naive to think that simple shackles could hold them for a reasonable amount of time. For as abominable as they are I must hand it to them that their species is remarkably resourceful." His voice was obviously synthesized, he was unsure if this would make these people hesitant about him or not.
It was difficult to dismiss the note of relief that escaped Frederick's lips as he sensed the calm overtake the tense fear and overt caution displayed by their welcomers, he was more prepared this time to receive Gansukh's psychic message and twitched rather less drastically at the intrusion. He adjusted his grasp on his force stave bringing it level with his shoulder blade, bringing his free hand up to the chest Cooper looked to the skies while keeping his eyes closed adopting a look of serenity as he did so, there might be an easier way into the city. 'If I may interject, in the year of our Lord Emperor 27775 was the time of the latter half of the Age of Strife a most benighted time in mankind's history before the time of our beneficent Imperium, if what you say is true then this world would classify as a lost colony and is therefore the responsibility of the Adeptus Terra. We would invoke the need for diplomatic immunity for the purpose of allowing our Xenos retinue members freedom to remain with the Thunderhawk, as this is a first contact event and advise that on behalf of your government an Envoy be appointed to meet with our masters in the Ordo Xenos. We must consult with our superiors after a time but request after screenings that we may be given a tour of your fair city, this would satisfy the Inquisitions desire for information regarding the recolonization of Tyran, these are our demands.' He spoke loudly and with confidence, he slanted his force stave across his chest and gripped it with both hands as he waited for a response.

Very well. You may keep them at your side. But a squad of our soldiers will constantly be at their side. For safety reasons." The presumable leader announced, obviously not amused about the insistence of the delegation to not shackle their oh-so-precious pointy ears. "It is ironic then that you have no means of entrapping these... Creatures then, while stating that almost nothing will bind them. It makes me wonder, what do you have that makes them obedient? Or are you maybe working in an alliance?" Seymour would ask Lanius directly but wave his question away. "That was rhetoric. Whatever your relation. Any blood that will get on their hands, will be on yours then." "Request for diplomatic immunity denied. As for the rest. We will decide on that matter later." He countered ice-cold to Frederick's demands. "You are our guests until you make yourselves unwelcome. Tyrannus is not a world that anyone unauthorized easily puts a foot on. And besides. You two just contradicted yourselves." Seymour la Fontaine pointed at the Terran and then at the Stormseer. "Either you are here to aid us against the return of the Tyranids who consumed this world in the first place. Or you wish to recolonize and integrate this world into your so-called Imperium. But I feel in an optimistic mood today. Thus we will exchange knowledge of the standing of our technology. Given that our scientist crew on your vessel will be given the same opportunity." He said as relaxed as ever, but now an undertone could be found. A displeased one. After all, how could one not be with demand after demand without the ones given to the strange group being allowed. Surely there would be no compromises long term. The leaders head turned back to Gonsukh. "We fought the Eldar on multiple occasions. I suppose they didn't enjoy us finding their little space portal in the void out there on our way to Tyran. They are the reason we lost a quarter of our people before even descending here. And we departed from a few solar systems to distance of Terra. Our vessel was called an Ark as it bore the entire population for a single world. The plan was to have a hundred years of travel in stasis and awake in the orbit of Tyrannus to colonize this world as it was the furthest away from Earth while still being suitable for colonization. Sadly, when we woke up here we found nothing but warren wasteland. As for our god. I speak of the trinity. God, Jesus Chirst and the Holy Spirit." The soldier next to him would clear her throat as if to remind the leader of something. "Ah yes of course! Let me finally get on the initiative here. As our scientists will be sent to your ship, we shall invite all of you to join us inside our headquarters to discuss how we can help one another." He gave them a courteous nod and got into one of the APCs, accompanied by his bodyguard. Two other APCs were their doors held open by surrounding soldiers, inviting the Inquisitor retinue. At the same time in the distance, the doctor's APC could be seen approaching once again. If anyone decided to stay back and escort the doctor and his assistants, they could - such as Felthernia would. She could feel the hostility of the humans against her fellow aliens and would not end up in some mysterious experiment or such thing and rather enjoy the protection of Amleth. While also being useful of aiding in keeping an eye on these suspicious humans and their agenda. "So, it appears we are taking your vessel?" Doctor Leonard-Pierre Giraudoux asked, five men and women behind him all dressed in white lab coats like himself. The others who would accept the invitation of the Prime Minister and Commander Seymour la Fontaine would be led into the heart of the facility before disembarking near staircases within the vehicle bay. Two squads of soldiers would accompany them, one in front, one in the rear, and escort them straight to a big conference room which had multiple screens, which currently were just having some screensaver in the background of a rotating icon. Said icon was a horizontal flag with three big columns, from left to right in blue, white and red. In the center were seven golden icons, identical to the symbol of the bishop of the ancient terran game 'chess'. They were sorted in a circle. After everyone either seated or stood at a good spot, Seymour sat straight at the head of the desk, his personal guard right next to him, and his hands folded once more, this time resting on the table. "Let's put everything aside and get to the point. We don't appreciate you wanting to simply add us to your own empire, swear probably allegiance to your emperor and all those things. However. You are human, we are human. Even if... Well you dedicated yourselves to mutations and augmentations to a good part. But we are willing to see beyond that. Just tell us what you really want, we get you exactly that and then you leave. Maybe we can agree to some sort of trading agreement and we both co-exist happily on without the need to waste human lives, blood or tears." His voice was annoyed, maybe stressed. But definitely he was slowly starting to get aggravated about playing diplomacy.
Phyrrus Ire began to rise as he heard the leaders of Tyran spout their heretical words. Such disrespect for the Emperor and the rule of Terra could not be tolerated. These fools were naive, unable to comprehend their place in the grand mechanism of humanity. Deciding to dispense with useless pleasantries, he raised his voice and spoke in a serious manner: "Gentleman of Tyran, I mean no offense, but perhabs it is you who are mistaken about the greater context of things. Let me try and rectify your lack of perspective. The imperium that we serve streches over millions of worlds. It is so vast that the wisest savants cannot grasp it's size. It has defended mankind for 10 millenia against all threats. The emperor is enthroned on Terra and rules over all mankind. Know this to be true and tremble before the glory of the Immortal God-Emperor of Mankind!"
Lanius' eyes clicked in an annoyed fashion at the arrogance of the man speaking. But refrained from retorting as he did remember this was supposed to be diplomacy. When the doctor and his own little retinue of similarly dressed assistants returned he took note of the starlen heading into the thunderhawk. A good move he thought, he doubted these Xenos would at all be of help during diplomacy between humans. He looked to the two eldar and brandished his whip. "I will be returning to the ship as well, you must return with me." He stated leaving no room for debate with his emotionless demeanor. @Wata @Taec
The crusader looked onto these humans with once hope he began to see something else. They had no knowledge of the emperor, nor knew of his faith and worship another entity, while never once knowing of him or his empire, It was a alien feeling to him, that they had never heard of him, nor the great crusades or his great works, nor the battle with those that betrayed him and his victory and ascension to god hood. A mixture of confusion, came as he heard the mention of other god, Chaos? possibly or something hearthen, Or it was a possibility it as some cult that believed in the emperor but in another form. The crusader began to flex his hand around his shield causing his nerves to fire some pain and discomfort as he did trying to cause some relief in his mind to focus on something he did know. This as not a situation he as prepared for or even trained for maybe his better half but he was not here as such this was defiantly not something Red would be comfortable with doing knowing the possibility of a incident he might cause. Deciding not to act out he heard both Phyruss speaking words that were familiar to him, of the Imperium and its emporer. Spotting Lanius going to look to herd the xenos into the thunder hawk Red thought it might be best for him to join them. It was defiantly not his place to go among those that did not know his light, that was a job for a Missionary or Order Sabine sister. This was not a crusaders job... Yet. Deciding to help guard the xenos he would wait with Lanius until things would either end up in war or otherwise.
Gansukh rode with the convoy into the heart of the facility, having to squeeze in order to actually fit in the small transport. Such way of travelling didn't sit well with the White Scars warrior who had a look of a troubled old man all the way up to the conference room. During the trip he also sent a message back to the ship, notifying them of incoming scientists that required special care while up there, but leaving all the details to those who stayed behind, trusting the retinue members to handle it. The further talks didn't go so well either. These humans were completely incapable of understanding the threat they were facing, now both from the Tyranids and the Imperium. "What Palantine Sentinel is saying is true, sir la Fontaine. Whatever you knew before doesn't matter anymore. Your words are heretical in their core, but I believe you are not a heretic yourself, you are just clinging to the facts you learned in a different time and place, facts that have no meaning whatsover now." "Me and sir Cooper didn't contradict ourselves. We want both - to reintegrate this world into the Imperium and to protect you from the Tyranids. However, since you are so keen on pursuing this talks with the iron fist, then let me reply in equal and tell you what we need. Three things." "We want the logs of the Inquisitor Kryptman and everything you found belonging to him handed over. We want to be given full freedom of investigating the planet for Tyranid presence, preferably but not necessary, with the help of your soldiers," the Stormseer said, nodding to the woman next to the prime minister who looked like the leader of the military forces. "And finally, I want to know who is the person in the last occupied stasis capsule." With the last word spoken, Gansukh's eyes glowed with a low blue light, the Stormseer preparing himself for the eventual conflict. It was apparent that these people, while misguided, weren't being all that agreeable, nor respectful for that matter, due to the simple fact that they didn't know what they were dealing with. If so, then the Stormseer was about to put up a show and reach an understanding. Few broken jaws and burned bodies were better than the alternative of what he saw in the vision beforehand.
@Uriel1339 The minotaur cleared his truth loudly before speaking his mind. “Pardon our bluntness, the galaxy and the imperium has seen too many horrors, wars and betrayal that have made us jaded. If things were better than a proper dealation would be sent but we came under the thought of rescue and war and hence you see more of a rarity then truth. The imperium is vast and it was made to help humanity as a species unite and survive the horrors of this war filled galaxy I am sure none of us want things to turn sour and neither of us want to come to blows over misunderstandings. We are both under duress and our views are conflicting so far but we are both human and hence we both are bound to share commonalties that will lead us to know each other in a better light. Ultimately, we wish for you to join the imperium but it is not something we will force onto to right at the offset, it is your choice to make and for the most part you can continue as you have even if you join the imperium as the only thing humanity asks is for you to stand with us when aliens threaten human worlds and help with tithe’s. In return we would provide aid, posterity and protection but I digress as we are warriors and thus are ill-suited to negotiation and explations. The imperium is fine with trade and helping each other against the varied of alien threats, I am sure both of our people can come to a mutual understand and benefit. But I ask you to pardon our outbursts, we are warriors not diplomats and hence we are ill suited to conducting negations, We have mentioned what we want and It is only proper that we know your wishes as well” said the minotaur. The minotaur had no problems if things went sour but he would rather it went sour after they had gotten what they wanted and left. All of what he had said had been the truth, it was just that he had downplayed things to make things smoother. As none of the others seemed to wish to be the carrot he reckoned he might as well take the role despite his reluctance. The imperium was vast and their mission was not to ignite hostilities, the other adepts would integrate this world into the imperium slowly over time as they had done countless other worlds. If this world was lucky then it would be trough peaceful methods and if not then it was the misfortune of this world.

Even as Gansukh mentioned the stasis capsule he remained his composure, although his posture gave away that he was surprised to say the least about being confronted by the statement. He let there be silence for a moment to think his answer through, then smiled. "Heresy. So your little Imperium, as you call it, is so bound by faith that you have to throw religious-based threats around? Certainly we thought our empire was descending into trouble, but I would have hoped that humanity would have fallen that far to become zealous warmongers such as yourselves. It is also quite ironic, considering that calling a human being, such as your 'god' emperor is blasphemy and heresy by our faiths. Sooooo I suggest you to tone down your zealousness. We are an entire city, you are a handful of soldiers and one single ship. You truly are not in a situation to throw threats around. And millions of worlds? Yet you failed to protect this world from the Great Devourer, yes?" Seymour winked at the Terran Sentinel, not really caring about such threats. He then addressed the mutants who appeared to have more diplomatic, direct and proper tones for such conversations. Maybe it was part of their genetic enhancements? "We will not integrate into your Imperium, that is our final decision. However. We will gladly accept to be trading partners. After all, there are basic policies we simply cannot agree on to form an actual military alliance. After all, you have Eldar in your retinue which we abide greatly and consider our current biggest enemy." Seymour responded to the tallest of human-mutants, Goreparan. "The logs of Inquisitor Kryptman shall be of no problem. We copied everything into our databases already. You shall be given what is rightfully yours. Feel free to survey our world. My people shall not leave the city walls however. You must understand that it could be a ruse of divide and conquer of yours. While with foreign contacts, it is our military protocol to stay within city walls. Especially considering I gave some of my best scientists into your hands on your ship in orbit." The commander / prime minister replied, making a soft sigh before addressing the issue of the stasis capsule. He looked up to his military advisor who just shrugged, before he looked back to the Inquisition before him. "To be honest. It is not a who... It is a what. And we are not entirely sure. The test subject was only referenced once in the logs as 'Hive Primarch' and beyond that, all data has been lost. I can guide you to it. But... It will not a pretty sight and will be disturbing. The entire sector is completely forbidden and under heaviest lockdown. We used to have guards and researchers down there to study it. But everytime, sometimes within days, sometimes after weeks... We would find them having killed each other or clawed their own eyes and partially brains out. If you wish, you can watch the video recordings, but it is nothing for the weak stomachs." He gulped and shivered slightly just from the thoughts, shaking his head. "Before you ask. We attempted to kill it. But even after fully disintegrating it within the stasis chamber, or even melting it. It... It would just restore. There is nothing we can do about it, except keep it down there and make sure it never comes out. And that abomination's existence and the fact that the data points out that your people created it... Makes us so suspicious of all of you." He took a deep breath, like a heavy weight falling off of his heart. ~~ The Darkest Night - Narrator - Back On-Board~~ @Maleth - Felthernia Nar'Therena, Starlen (F) Assassin @Taec - Laeris, Dark Eldar (M) Trueborn ----- @Vulpas - Red Tarsinis, Human (M) Crusader @TuskatheDaemonKilla - Lanius Skyruss, Human (M) Tech Priest Lanius and Red guided the scientists on the thunderhawk. They were accompanied in compliance by the aliens due to the risk of getting whipped by the tech priest and maybe even beaten unconscious to be dragged unto their ship. Although Alnar remained behind, remaining at the side of Gansukh in a familiar fashion he did back on Calth. The Eldar moved intentionally fast enough and too close to the Space Marine to make it impossible for Lanius to interfere without risk of hitting the Stormseer. Thus, the techpriest had no choice but trust the Space Marines with taking care of Amleths pet. Shortly after the ramp closed with the Tyran people inside, the engines fired up and they were taken into orbit to land on The Darkest Night. There the group was greeted by Varuuk. "Greetings, people of Tyran. My name is Varuuk. I shall serve as proof that the Adeptus Astartes are no mutants, but of true genetic evolution. And in exchange our so-called Adeptus Mechanicus, our Tech Priests, will discuss with you about the differences of our technological standing. Lanius Skyruss and Rygar Pox will be the head ambassadors for these efforts, while Red Tarsinis." The Deathwatch Captain pointed at the Crusader. "Will serve as your personal guide on our vessel and make sure you have water, food, access to restrooms and such as you require." He gave a meaningful nod to the two and the aliens, it was an order of the inquisition. He then guided the scientists to the closest operating room, more or less he expected the others to follow. Rygar Pox would be on standby to take control of the aliens again, unless they wished to follow Varuuk, Red and Lanius to the OR. The scientists had big eyes throughout their whole arrival, the architecture of the ship, design of the armor and everything being so new and foreign that they couldn't wait to get started. "We understand and appreciate the opportunity." the head of the scientist delegation, this Leonard-Pierre Giraudoux, said loud and clear. The awkward accent of his people being even thicker than that of Seymour. Once inside the OR, Rygar Pox stood at the ready to remove Varuuk's Power Armor in entirety. Interesting enough it was not his signature gear being in the room, but instead a common chainsword and bolt pistol. Standard issue quality. Two of the scientists started to setup their equipment with all sorts of awkward machines, portable generators and what not - everything very compact and with purpose. Once Varuuk was completely out of his armor with only brief-like covers over his groin, he laid down on the Astartes sized operating table. Some started to analyze his body, running various scans with mobile equipment, starting to stick weird wires with white stickers on his head and chest. While others started to experiment with the weapons. They talked plenty to each other, not so much to anyone of the retinue. Though from time to time the scientists would point at Red or Lanius. Most likely discussing theories about why their armor was so distinctively different but not daring to ask.
