He pressed a button and it died down. "So are you one of Rygar's servants, or do you serve under someone else, Priest?" He asked in sudden curiosity, eyeing the tech priest as he tries to escort the alien out. ~~ Imperial Navy Academia, Training Barracks - Master of the Fleet Lazlo Tiberius & Captain Learchus Abantes ~~ @Vulpas - Red Tarsinis, Human (M) Crusader @Tamu - Goreparan, Minotaur (SM) Apothecary @Donairian - Frederick Cooper, Human (M) Primaris Psyker @KorCharon - Phyrrus Ataraxus, Terran (M) Palantine Sentinel And indeed not before long, Frederick, Goreparan and Red arrived at the barracks. One of the local armsmen led them to an observation room which gave live pict-feeds of each combat. Lazlo Tiberius was standing before the big screens, watching with great curiosity how the Space Wolf and the Catachan were doing. "Ah I see our other guests joined us." He turned around for a moment to nod towards the three. "Come, join and see who might face the captain in the finals. The fights just started, so you haven't missed all too much." The door opened again, and a pair of Space Marine and human walked in. "Speaking of the devil." Lazlo nodded to Captain Learchus and Phyrrus who was at his side. -- Fight 1; Tyr Nosebreaker & Denton 'Longfang' Reach vs. Apraxus & Rob Sang -- @BadDo9 - Denton 'Longfang' Reach, Catachan (M) Jungle Fighter @Grall_Stonefist - Tyr Nosebreaker, Space Wolf (SM) Grey Hunter And the starting signal rang. Tyr went full-steam ahead for a brutal assault. Apraxus anticipated such move and evaded instead, using his shield to deflect the Space Wolf off of him - before bolting for Denton. The Ultramarine was aiming to slam his weapon right into the Catachani's side. But he didn't anticipate him to be much better versed in close combat than the Auxilia. Longfang only might have evaded the blow with a sidestep due to the lack of Apraxus' power armor which would have enabled him to move even faster than he already was. But the blows just kept coming at him, forcing him in the defensive with parries and evasions. Rob, the auxilia soldier, fired salvos of metal pellets upon the Space Wolf in attempt to pin him down. His aim was not very good, but the few that hit Tyr did in fact hurt him. Slug-like metal rounds designed to hurt Space Marines. A direct shot of these to the head might knock a normal human even out. Denton feinted an opening for Apraxus, only to duck in the final moment and have the Space Marine stab the wall behind the Catachani, causing the sword to get stuck in the fake rockcrete. The first round of bouts was over, leaving Tyr and Apraxus at the disadvantage - depending on what they were going to do next. ~~ Communication Deck - Narrator ~~ @Wata - Alnar, Eldar (M) Corsair Reaver Alnar planted the device and it's red light turned green. It made barely any noise, moved a little around and then a message popped up on the logic machine 'message sent and received.' The green light remained online, but there was something else about it. When the machine turned, apparently on the top of the device a little circular object was pushed out. It was a coin. But not any coin. It bore the rune of Isha. Varuuk was not helping Alnar because of his agenda or any such thing - but because he had a life debt with the Eldar that would be repaid if the corsair was to be returned with the coin. Which of course made sense considering the Deathwatch Captain promised that he would get Alnar on-board the Void Dragon vessel. It was up to him to take the Eldar token, seal the deal and make his transmission. The corsair could not identify from whom specifically the token came on first glance, but at this point it might not be surprising if the captain would answer if directly questioned. But that was all a matter of later. For now. He would be able to make a call to the Eldar on a secure frequency, and logically they would not pick him up here, but on Tyran, where the Imperium had no influence or power. And just maybe if the hatred in Alnar's heart was strong enough, he might extend the same hospitality to his captors that they had him enjoy all this time.
Lanius paused as the captain asked a question. "Captain I only truly serve the Omnissiah, but in this specific case the Inquisitor Marcella has unfortunately required my services and I do not have the authority to refuse." His voice despite being purely synthetic had a slightly irritated tone. This was the second time someone mistook him for someone of lesser worth. Then again this may work to his advantage so he sees no point in trying to fix the issue. Though correcting people could get bothersome, perhaps he should make a recording he could play the next time it happens.
Surprised at Varuuk's actions, Feltherina was about to kick the collar away so she could pick it up out of sight when the red-robed figure picked it up. Seeing as the only course of action was to go back to the ship, she sighed and headed off, idly kicking her feat at being had. Then again, she certainly felt something was up, and given the way he acted, probably something she could use in politics. Still, the Starlen begrudgingly took her leave, if only because she was of the option she had exhausted what she could do here. Even if she decided to stop once she was sure that she was out of ear shot of Varuuk, given the red-robed figures ability to at least look out for her, and so a few questions to be asked of him.
Lanius was quick to follow the xenos away from the captain. Hopefully this xeno would not make a habit of moving ahead of him as they try and make their way back to the ship. He did not wish for them to be killed by a startled guard, not only would it be a waste he would rather not have to explain to the inquisitor why their pet was dead and their collar broken. "I suggest you not move far away from me."
As the metal pellets impacted Tyr he did little more than wince, he would not be taknemlig like this, instead he kept the controlled battle fury pumping in him up, "Im over here coward" Tyr said, knowing full well the ultramarines would see it as a folly for Tyr not to fall upon the oposing mortal, Though he dident ignore him, Tyr threw his combat knife at the auxiliary, before charging Apraxus with balled fists.
Alnar was more than a little surprised when the coin poked out. He leaned on the console and just stared at the small thing. "That explains it..." He muttered after a moment of silence. He gingerly grabbed it, looked at it on eye level and kept it. As for the transmission, he spoke to what he presumed was the thing that received voice. "This is Corsair Reaver Alnar of the Void Dragons, enslaved on an Imperial ship The Darkest Night forced to fight in their battles. I beg of you, whoever hears this, free me and get me home. Just get to Tyran so I can make my escape and join my kin again." He cut the feed right after he had spoken, he had no time to wait for response if any was incoming. He was pushing his luck already to remain this long undetected. Brief inhale and exhale. He straightened his back, removed the device and secured it on his person. Now all that was left was to get out without getting caught. Peeking into the room he came through, he waited for the first opportunity to slip past and make his way back.
< @Uriel1339 @Grall_Stonefist > 'So that's their play.' Longfang thought with a smirk as the Marine barreled towards him. Probably take the human out first and then double-down on the Space Wolf in order to take him down. Good plan but if it was going to work, then they'd have to work for it. He smirked as he feinted and the Ultramarine fell for it, with the Catachani ending up behind him. His eyes shot towards the other human, but he growled. Too much open space to move forwards easily. He could leave and perhaps attempt to flank but... he shrugged internally and drew one of his blades. Quickly he charged and leapt, climbing up onto the Ultramarine's back and clinging onto the marine's neck, wrapping around it and using him both as cover, and to disorient the larger being for his Spacewolf ally to launch an attack.

Varuuk warned the Martian-trained, not even watching the two leave, but glad they left just in time as his wrist-light indicated. Now it was time to wait for yet another Xenos... ~~ Middle Decks - Narrator ~~ @Maleth - Felthernia Nar'Therena, Starlen (F) Assassin @TuskatheDaemonKilla - Lanius Skyruss, Human (M) Tech Priest As the odd couple started to make their way back to The Darkest Night, two Navy Armsmen blocked the path ahead, clearly intending to be in the way. As Lanius and Felthernia would glance left and right, two more on each direction would appear, along with one from where they came from. "A Martian and his Xeno pet." One of them scoffed, spitting at his feet. "All those machine parts make you a lunatic and xeno lover, told you so!" One said loudly to the other one, pointing towards the two. "Might as well kill them both and make it look like the alien went crazy and killed the Techpriest in the process. Nobody needs xeno-sympathists around" Another one chuckled. "Just throw them in the forges, there won't be any evidence left." The one from the rear said with a shrug. It was rather clear that the group was intending to hurt, if not even kill, the two for nothing less than one of the simplest crimes of humanity - being not human and interacting with a non-human respectively. ~~ Imperial Navy Academia, Training Barracks - Master of the Fleet Lazlo Tiberius & Captain Learchus Abantes ~~ @Vulpas - Red Tarsinis, Human (M) Crusader @Tamu - Goreparan, Minotaur (SM) Apothecary @Donairian - Frederick Cooper, Human (M) Primaris Psyker @KorCharon - Phyrrus Ataraxus, Terran (M) Palantine Sentinel -- waiting on players -- -- Fight 1; Tyr Nosebreaker & Denton 'Longfang' Reach vs. Apraxus & Rob Sang -- @BadDo9 - Denton 'Longfang' Reach, Catachan (M) Jungle Fighter @Grall_Stonefist - Tyr Nosebreaker, Space Wolf (SM) Grey Hunter The Auxilian took cover to reload and by the time he was back up he anticipated the Space Wolf to be in his face, instead he took aim and readied to aid his outnumbered brother-in-arms. Apraxus growled as Denton got on his back, but made use of his discipline. He turned swiftly around, preparing to slam the Catachani into the wall. But instead Tyr was suddenly right in front of him, right fist extending to his face. The Ultramarine was too slow to evade and took a direct hit to his nose, breaking it on the spot an causing a gush of blood to shoot forward. Although the blow was successful, it was enough to send Apraxus with his back against the wall, squishing every bit of oxygen out of Longfangs lungs as he was slammed with immense force into the wall, Apraxus' elbow digging into his abdomen. Tyr followed up with his other fist, the Ultramarine knew it was coming and quickly side stepped. The Space Wolf stopped an inch before hitting Denton right into the chest, instead forced to catch him as he fell forwards from the wall. "NOW!" Apraxus yelled, and a barrage of fire came into the back of Tyr once again. He took the shots all over his shoulders and back, protecting Denton from any of the hits as he got back on his feet. Just then the Catachani managed to deflect a blow from Apraxus, to the Space Marines' surprise. Longfang got to shoulder-check him off and while Tyr was covered in various bruises across his back, he would get a breather once more as the Auxilian reloaded. ~~ Communication Deck - Narrator ~~ @Wata - Alnar, Eldar (M) Corsair Reaver The Corsair would see basically no change to before, four servitors working away. However, making it through the hallway and authorize the door with the keycard he still had was going to need some time. It would seem that he could either wait until someone would enter and then make a fast escape, hoping that Eldar speed in fact is beyond human perception. Or, he could kill everyone and move on. Alnar was forced once again to make a decision and either one would be pushing the luck he enjoyed so far.
Lanius' eyes clicked audibly as the armsmen made more assumptions that made dreaded emotion swirl within him. His mechadendrites moved silently under his robes, passing his pistol up towards his hand until in a split second he moved. Slipping his pistol into his hands he raised it quickly and pulled the trigger with the intent of sending the explosive round into the head of one of the offending men. Only fools would dare to assault someone of the machine cult. Also the comments about a possible relationship between him and the xenos were to say the least. Irritating.
Frederick was indeed indulging himself in what little satisfaction he could allow himself for reaching the observation room in time for the first bout, with a slow lingering shuffle he moved over to where he could see the two pairs of fighters his staff audibly clanking against the floor with each step he took. He felt a slight twinge of catharsis watching the skill of both teams as they fought his eyes jumping from one development to the next and his eyes widened as he rested on his force stave which was now firmly anchored to the ground. He steadied his thoughts, he was unwisely letting his emotions get the better of him, something a man like him could ill afford considering he was never truly alone. Raising his free hand to his forehead he composed himself and obscured his eyes so that he could only hear the fighting, he banished his sense of achievement and turned his attention to the group with a turn of his head.
