<Cha'ka> "Well, I suggest that some of us go back to the ship. These worms here, they eat machine spirits. It explains why the Mechanicus fleet had problems, they were all prey for these things. There was a large mechanical worm in a room. It smelled living and artificial at the same time. It asked me questions, adjusting the temperature to suit my preferences. There were cocoons on the ceiling, and when I said I was leaving it told me to feed the worms, and these three fell out of cocoons, one of them is mine; the Inquisitor may have the other two for her own purposes. And until we figure out how they eat machine spirit, we should probably keep them off of any human vessels."
<Joseph Hall> <Team One> "Hmmm...well perhaps eating one would give us some insight? Being able to eat machine spirits might be useful on your end but I'm feelin a bit peckish so I'll give it a go and see if anything happens. Then again sure the big worm wouldn't like us eating it's kiddies."
Davarus 1st squad: "Very well....however we still need to secure some sort of writing for the linguist here." He turned on his vox. "Madam inquisitor, Cha'ka has located some sort of parasitic worms that devour machine spirits. Requesting advisement ma'am. We may not be able to bring them aboard until we can stop them from destroying the machine spirit." Davarus spoke these words with slight confusion. Turning to the group. " Nobody even think about eating the worms....nobody."

<Cha'ka> "I think that the worm is the rapid development, the big one showed a rather large level of intelligence, perhaps caused by eating the machine spirits? Irregardless, I'm not eating anything like that 'just to see what happens', that's how you end up a Krootox. I am, however, going to keep this one and observe its behavior, it is no threat to me or my gear, as I do not worship your machine spirit." The Kroot sat down and began to play with the one of the worm, putting the other two in a box he had brought along with him just for these purposes. He also pulled out some Kroot Paper, and began writing on it in his language with his nail.
SA582 soon arrived at Engineering, after firing its Multi-Melta at 10 wreckage blocked doors to clear the way, kicking aside at least 25 normal blockages and Jump-packing over five places where the floor had given way. Once there, it searched for anything out of the ordinary there, and any information about the galaxy there, not caring for any disturbances it caused. Well, think I'll go find out anything in engineering. Wonder what date it is now, as last date I remember is... M37? M35? The only I know for sure is the mental image that kept me going, seeing the Emperor, at least I think it's him, in all his glory in a war-room somewhere... and some Space marine with something flaring from his helmet that was responsible for making me nap, in a battleground somewhere. But I might be hallucinating some of it, for I'm not perfect.
