"To find the Emperor's Light, one must wander the Darkness of the Warp." Veronica said with a smile, not backing off. "I suggest you talk to Ry'thss Sshakti and Head-Priest Hexenbrand on Medical Bay. If you are looking for light and darkness, there you will find it currently most. It was a pleasure meeting you. Ezra would have enjoyed learning from you." And with that and a simple nod, Veronica marched off. "Davarus! Meet me on the Mechanicus deck with Secutor Leos." She ordered, taking the Elevator. OOC: @Grall_Stonefist You may just continue whatever you have going on with Veronica & Davarus arriving and making a post of showing us your awesome new slaves, uh bodyguards.
Before they got down to the lexmechanics in the engineering bay, Leos saw the elevator open, and the inquisitor step out, "ah Misstress Inquisitor, decided to join us?" Leos said, before contenuing "this is the creation i wanted to show you" he said as he waved Draenov forwards with a quckly arm motion, while quickly saying "introduce yourself" in binaric to zz9 @Xaphen
Davarus came just with the elevator after Veronica, stepping quietly at her side. Veronica was not so much of a show and tell enduring woman so she looked at Leos. "I hope everything so far is to your satisfaction? Also I am certain there is no real reason to show me your work, except your own pride, plus that I know who belongs to your personal retinue now?"
Dranov looked at the inquisitor with a blank stare. "Hello I am Z99 "Dranov", if I am correct I am the secutors body guard." He stood there wondering why would he need to guard this machine man. What kind of danger will he be enduring through his new life?
"Z99. Inquiring opinion on Xenos lifeforms and experience with Daemons." Veronica replied with sharp tongue. "Identify me from here on as Veronica Bishop, Inquisitor and Captain of the Ebony Flame. And this man here as Davarus, Acolote of Veronica Bishop." She was certain Leos had already done similar work, but she just wanted to see how well the most recent Combat Servitor did.
RY'THSS "Confusion, I guess...", she replied to the robot. "Why would Ronnie seem to care about me, when she thinks of me as naught but a whore? I don't understand this. Loki would lie to me, yes he would, but he seemed so sincere. He wanted my aid." The Pelager sat up, looking directly at the bot, and around the room. "It's too bright in here." RESH "No!", Resh shrieked in reply, not even sure if she said it in Eldarin or Gothic. The Dark Eldar knew why she was fighting the Tau, and any proposed escape, no matter how realistic, was naught compared to what she hoped to achieve through victory. She accepted the knee to her stomach, and felt bile rising up her throat already, but, drawing on her arena experience back on Dreadhaven, where she'd been in a similar situation, the trained Warrior stabbed her hand into the Tau's forehead slit, and dug her nails inside firmly, using it as a sort of stress ball to compensate the pain from being kneed into an old wound.
The female screamed in pain and brought a karate-chop down the neck of Resh, trying to knock her out, get her off. "YOU FILTHY BITCH!" She complained roaring, trying to kick her now multiple times in her abdomen, the pain nigh unbearable, only her own training and experience letting her be still conscious.
The pain from the Tau's chop tightened Resh's grip as it failed to knock her out cold, her alien anatomy protecting her from something lethal to a mon-keigh; however, one could not discount her utter determination to persevere in this fight. Her perfect white skin had become dirty, her hair unmaintained, long and inhabited by far too proletarian parasites, and the bad conditions the Eldar had been kept in had caused sores. She felt as if her dignity had died in recent months - this was her one saving grace, and she would not let go of it, even as she felt the Tau kicking and kicking her, until she could not stop herself from vomiting all over the other woman's face. The shock and pain caused her to raise up, still grabbing onto the weird orifice, and keep slamming her head into the metal floor as often and hard as she could. They were locked in melee.
The Tau woman was blinded and irritated by the vomit as it got in her eyes and the disgust simply confusing her. Just giving the breaking moment for Resh to twist the combat and crush the skull of the Tau, though she managed to grab the Screwdriver and ram it ice-cold into the abdomen of Resh before going unconscious or dead, who could tell with even brain-mass leaking out of the skull from the brutality of the Comorrite woman...
- Fric The large fluffy cat looks up at Richtor, responding to the scratching. You notic a collar, a name tag hands reading "Fricwitt" and a rolled up piece of paper carefully tucked between it and Fric neck. The note reads; Hello, my name is Fricwitt but my friends call me Fric. Want to be my friend? I like treats, my ears scratched, and being brought home. My master loses me easily and I require help. Do not be distracted by my cute face, I'm already plotting my next nap. If found, please bring to medical station 1 and ask for Chirurgeon Debbie. She'll know what to do with him... I mean me. Thank you. Sincerely Fric and Virgil. @Jorimel - Virgil, physically in medical quarantine No change in condition, could use a new IV of fluids. - Virgil, Astral in Exodite settlement Virgil hovered alongside Phoebus and Drax, woundering when their hosts would take note of them. That and it appeared Phoebus' and Drax's feet weren't in mind when these stairs were built. A few steps were now cracked with creamite encased foot prints.
