But no reply came. Perhaps she was somewhere else?

"Not now, but thank you for the news. We shall get to it once I have talked with some new members myself." Veronica replied straight out.

The Tau readied in martial arts, obviously human origin. She made her stance and awaited her enemy to arrive. This one must have learned on Dreadhaven too and survived not just because she was a Tau or due to a name, that became indicative now. Letting the Dark Eldar grab the Screwdriver to give her false hope. It was no weapon, a cheap tool, the Tau knew that very well.

Drax looked after Phoebus and then decided to follow too. "You should take the elevator, it is a long way up, don't want you collapsing." The Astartes told the four human soldiers before starting to climb the stairs. The Exodites did not even look back to see if they follow or not, simply expecting they would take the elevator. Although one must admit that they climbed fast, even for Eldar and Astartes levels.

    - Virgil
'At the very least, I can promise to keep a close mind's eye upon her.'
Virgil went wherever the retinue members went. Having no physical presence, he relyed on his link with them to "see." Besides the psychic manifestations of the Farseer and the general outline of the large room, the architecture of the place meant very little to him. The limitations of elevators or stairs having no effect over the disembodied voice/hovering astral projection.
'Now what is this about sir... Oh my apologies! We have yet to be properly introduced! Of course you know of us, but as a show of respect among humans we introduce ourselves by name or title. I am Astropath Virgil C07P0MP.'
Virgil meant what he said, but he also sought information on this tribe of Exodite Eldar.

    *deep breath* Meanwhile!
As if on cue Fricwitt, or Fric as the feline was know, fell from the ceiling of Veronica's room. Dusty and in desperate need of a bath. Fric had travelled far and long through the bowels of the ship, desecrating a number of Cha'ka's hiding places in the process.
    "Meow! Merrow? Meow. Prrrrrrrrrrrrrr."
(Translation: I have returned! Who is that and why is it not petting me? I found dead things, one once being a Eldar thing. Praise me.)

    RESH

Seeing the combat pose, Resh sneered and twirled the screwdriver in her hands. It was only a sharp piece of metal, yes, but she'd killed and maimed with less.
"Your pathetic attempt at intimidation is for naught, mortal creature", she growled in a low tone, raising her arms to her side. "What is it you desire to attempt?" With a sudden movement, she launched the screwdriver at the Tau, turning a simple tool into a lethal projectile. Even before it would connect, the Commorrite herself sprinted past, following her own thrown weapon, attempting to tackle the Tau and get on top of her.

The Tau evaded the screwdriver, not knowing that this was the exact intention and the Eldar superior speed was another factor she had not included, the Eldar now being on her. She tried to gain distance again by aiming a kick into her abdomen, the same spot their captor hit her earlier. "Why do you even fight?! We should attempt to escape, you crazy bitch!" The Tau complained, struggling to get the Comorrite off herself.

    (Lysander Cariaso)

The Judge's gaze became one of notable doubt towards the Inquisitor as a result of her astounding confidence of the xenos lapdogs she had enrolled into her retinue. His facial expression shifted to reflect his concern as the situation only grew more confound as the conversation progressed. Her confidence in the xenos could easily be seen as heresy, given that the goal of the Ordo Xenos was to defend humanity against the xenos foe, not employ them. Still, the matter of the xenos crew was outside his jurisdiction and her Ordo does indeed have a history with negotiating short-term alliances with xenos forces, if only to benefit Imperial interests. Lysander could only hope that her own interests were similar to those made in the past by her betters, and not a "personal crusade" that would lead her on the path towards damnation, if she was not on that road already.

"Make sure that you do, Inquisitor, least their becomes a need for the Imperium to take action in your stead. I must still insisted that the Ordo Malleus take control of the situation. These xenos you have recruited in no way grant you the authority to face the threat of daemons with the knowledge and abilities that those of the Ordo Malleus have at their disposal." As he spoke, Lysander could tell by the look on her face and her bodily posture that she was unwavering in her desire for vengeance. Letting a soft sight escape his lips, the Judge shook his head in disappointment. "Your path is set before you, it would seem. I just hope that it is the right path. Regardless of your choice, this investigation of your loyalty remains open. Tread carefully, Inquisitor."

"Well, I was making that statement in referring to your belief you consider this moment in time to be a dream." SA582 said, trying to hide its annoyance and worry at Ry'thss not acting upon the advice. Still, it was their first meeting in a long time. The idea crossed its mind that it might be a better idea to start building a friendship with Ry'thss before it started the long process of rebuilding Ry'thss's spirit.

So it decided to move the topic of discussion to something that the Pelagar was willing to talk about with "Anyway, is there anything you'd like to talk about?" Hopefully that way would mean that the Pelagar would actually have a proper conversation with SA582 rather than constantly keep shooting down the Thallax's attempts at bringing her spirits up.

"I already have knowledge gathered in the Daemon. The Ordo Malleus just would start from scratch all over and even if we provide the information they would do a full investigation themselves. Until then more Imperial Worlds could be endangered. There is no time for the Ordo Malleus to investigate. If I do not act and let time go to waste, only caring for little Dark Eldar Raids that can easily be crushed by the Imperial Navy, then it would be putting all the worlds near the Maelstrom at risk. I will make sure to forward the information to the Ordo Malleus, but I will not stop protecting the Imperium this easily. Also. Careful is not my way. You should know that both my mentor and my brother-acolyte were both also known for risking danger. Krauz succeeded in the end destroying Ahriman, even if it did cost his life. Do you not agree that such sacrifice and taking chances are important?"

Veronica replied, not really caring for the disapproval of the Detective. He was perhaps manipulated by those Puritans, seeing nothing but evil in every corner. Not understanding the principles of compromises. After all individuals like Cha'ka and Razauil have proven their importance in success of missions before. Without Razauil, how else would they have been able to break treaty between Red Corsairs and Dark Eldar Pirates and perhaps let it never happen again? Interesting enough they seemed also be simply more talented warriors, given that both elite soldiers Thoren and Joseph had passed away and yet the Aliens among Veronica seemed to power through every problem.

    - Fric
Upon exiting your room, you notice a large fluffy purple feline with green eyes and a strange gem on his chest. The feline watches you unblinkingly. Without warning it charges, and with even less warning starts to rub your leg. Putting as it does so. "Meow."
