"A daemon?"asked Zeth in disbelif,as he turned toward the direction Inquisitor was. "By the Omnissiah she has gone against it!What can we do...we are not equipped to fight versus demons?"despaired young xenobiologist as he put the left palm of his hand on his face, his right hand still on Astropath`s shoulder.
<Cha'ka> The Kroot watched as the fight slowly turned against the Inquisitor's forces in the Hangar bay. The Stormtroopers had gunned down another dozen or so cultists, and Thoren had narrowly avoided evisceration by an Incubi when a grenade detonated behind the Dark One. But the Astartes were proving a tough nut to crack, and the Kroot had dropped two and a Sergeant before one with a heavy bolter noticed him and opened fire, causing him to find a new position. As he ran for another spot he had picked out earlier, he felt a stunning pain in his side as an Incubi kicked him into the wall. The bolter fire had revealed his position to more than just the Marines, and now both Incubi sought to avenge the death of their squad mates. Before he could draw his knife they were on him, and he narrowly rolled out of the way of both blades. He drew his knives and attempted to deflect the next swings, but they were no match for the power field that surrounded the Incubis' Klaives, and he found himself two knives short as he leaped back out of the way of another swing. The Incubi were as fast, if not faster, then he was. He was down to his mono-knife, useless against the Incubi's Klaives, and he knew these warriors would not make a mistake, so he would have to be better. Hangar: 21 Marines (1 Sergeant and 1 Captain), 75 Cultists, 2 Incubi Kroot Kill Count: 4 Marines, 1 Sergeant, 2 Incubi, 2 Worms, 1 Cannon Lizard
- Virgil, bridge Sensing Ezra and the Stormtroppers engaging the Dark Eldar and the advancing Red Corsairs. Things weren't looking good. Ezra and the troopers had the eldar in a stalemate, they seemed disorganized. While the troopers outnumbered the kabalites, that would not last long. When the Red Corsairs arrived, things would go to hell very fast. "Zeth we need to trust the Inquisitor's decision. The bridge cannot be taken from us. What we need is a plan... a better one. Are there any built in defenses that can be used to slow down the corsairs? I think I can help Ezra deal with these weak minded xeno wretches." 'From this range I can make things very difficult to my enemies. If we can rid ourselves of these Edlar we can focus on the Corsairs when they arrive. Maybe then I should follow Veronica.' Virgil gulped as he remembered the present danger of demonic invasion... much worse in his mind than mortal invasion. 'Oh my God-Emperor.'
"Do i like like a Enginseer to you virgil,i am not one of Astra Bassilicon i have not built this ship!"snapped Zeth as he shook his head left and right. "Apologies Virgil, the talk of daemons...."one-eyed Xenobiologist looked toward the bridge, his look trailing in the distance."I might be able to bring us an edge if i reach my labaratory..."spoke Zeth as he turned to Virgil.
OOC: a one eyed (un)techpriest and a blind walking telephone receiver are not fighting their way though a paper bag. Let alone to your lab, where ever that is!
<Location:Reactor, Tunnels> SA582 did not have to wait long for the next group to arrive in the tunnels, but they were a much toughter fight. The cultists had distracted it by dying in it's flamer's field of fire while the Marine managed to land a blow to its left leg, slowing the Thallax down and giving it a limp. Its wrist mounted Plasma gun however, terminated the Marine by blowing his head off. It soon retreated further into the tunnels, and it seemed to be slightly worried about the fact it was already damaged... How did that happen! Anyway, must set another ambush..... Reactor: 13 (2 Seargents) Astartes; 80 Meatshields Cultists; 5 skitarii
Bridge- The incubi looked around more in disbelief at being ambushed than anything else which gave the scout time to pump two shots into their ranks simultaneously killing one and wounding another the heavy bolter also gave a quick spray of them wounding another yet again, however as they regrouped with the harmoclus they seemed to rejuvinant even if their wounds didn't however the marines where now in an extremely defensible position but the slaves, the slaves seemed to be do nothing, which was odd,if the harmoculus had anything to do with it he wasn't giving anything away 1 harmonclus 1 kalabite 4 3 incubi 30 slaves
- Virgil "My apologize adept Zeth, I could have sworn you said your aid against our imminent demonic attack was past dark Eldar kabalities and an oncoming chaos tainted space marine horde, and inside your lab? I don't see you and myself physically getting past them."
Adept cocked his head at the Astropath:"I`d say you misunderstood me dear Virgil, for i have said that i have something against these invaders, but i have not said that our path lays in that direction."Zeth pointed at the direction from were the assailants were assaulting. "This is an old and venerable ship, and even tho it cannot stand its own,not like she could in her prime, she has some secrets from a bygone age that is no longer in use."spoke the one-eyed adept as he approached to one of the ornaments that stood on the wall.It seemed to be some form of a victory spoil,a flag,half-torned and its remains hunged on a banner that was attached to a wall. "The ornaments on the left side of the command throne were always..."and just as the Zeth finished his sentance he seeimgly pressed the right "spot" as the banner clicked into position and the doors behind it slided open.I dont know were this will take us,the destination was always customly made...but its a whole lot then staying here, what do you say,Virgil,Miss Sshakti?"spoke Zeth as he waited infront of the entrance.
