<Team 2> The ship shook from another impact. All members heading for the Valkyrie, save for Varshal the Reclaimator who would take his own craft and of course SA582 who seemed to have unfinished business with this creature. As the fire emitted, many of the flesh-creatures died, but the giant of a hulk did not even slow down from the heavy bolter, emitting a tentacle to grab the gunner by the head and pulled it into one of the maws, swallowing him in one bite. Another tentacle hit Samuel in a joint of the back of his leg, it having apparently created a spear-like feature, destroying muscle and bone alike, semi-removing everything from knee downward on. "JOIN!.... ME!... CHILDREN!" It roared loud, attempting to grab another Imperialist who was skilled enough to shoot the tentacle of before it reached him. With the help of an Imperial Stormtrooper and Thoren, the Astartes Samuel was retrieved, while the other Deathwatch Astartes, Phoebus carried Selina. They all hurried into the Valkyrie, while the Stormtroopers started a tactical retreat, as the Valkyries provided coverfire. SA582 - The Thallax; was the only one making a stand.
-Selina, on Phoebus' shoulder- "Don't mind it..." She had a smile which he couldn't see. She turned her head so she can see, and she spots the Thallax. "May the Emperor save him from harm..."
'Time for you to die, Warp-spawn' "Taunt-I shall be your death, for I am the wrath of the Imperium." It was the only thing SA582 spoke in its monotone to the beast, before it started blasting it with its Multi-Melta, sending beams of light at the tentacles. It strafed to the left, trying to get it to face the airlock, weaving its way through the hanger. It seemed confident despite the pressure of trying to kill the beast.
Team 2 Loki joined the rest and took a seat inside of the Valkyrie, buckling up and using his vox once again, "SA582 what the hell are you doing?!? Come on, we gonna blow the ship anyway, not like your friend gonna survive!"
The Beast growled in pain as several tentacles at once and a huge chunk of it was turned into nothingness. As it unleashed a tentacle and tried to grab the Thallax, but it was destroyed by a Valkyries systems. Being out of range due to the angle, SA582 could now wait until the huge beast would come around the corner. Though the Valkyrie pilots certainly could not wait as the first tentacles started to make for them... And after seeing what it did to the Astartes, they certainly would not press their own luck!
*rest the heavy bolter and disconnect the round cabel* "This is what we did once again Sanvor" *start cleaning the barrel and the blood drop on the bolter*
"Statement-Taking down the beast." It was all SA582 would say to Loki over the vox, monotone still there. It readied its Multi-Melta to start further destroying the fiend, and its legs to move quickly into the airlock, to flush it out into the void. It seemed even more confident, everything was going well for now... 'Ready or not, here it happens...'
"You have 10 seconds to come to the Valkyrie, after that we are leaving without you," Loki responded as he gestured the pilot to prepare for lift-off.
"Ah...this is unexpected."spoke Zeth as a greenish acid (it must be GREEN!) affected the dead tissue of the long incinirated Gamma specimen. "Hmm....no more samples...i should have taken more from its...corpse."spoke Zeth as he sighted and turned to the ever capturing pict-recorder. "Well...i learned what i needed to know,Master will want to hear of this."spoke Zeth as he turned off the pict-recorder and thank its machine spirit for the assistence!As he started mixing some chemicals vox-bead turned on: "To pack-up...right now?"spoke Zeth as he was in middle of his work."Well...i understood that but what about the Wu...worms?There is a prohibition to take them aboard the ship..."spoke Zeth and added with utmost concern:"I have new results and deep vivisection has been completed.I have...gained...new knowledge about these xenos...and it aint a pleasant one,tho the rumor that these xenos can devour machine spirts has not been confirmed yet.Tho the equipment works in their pressence."spoke Zeth avoiding to name which...no need for them to know whats about their rank. "Also we had development up-top while you guys were in the cave."spoke Zeth as he shuted off the reciver on his vox-bead and waited for the reply.
