Davarus 1st squad: Now coming to his senses DAvarus realized the error of his ways..."Of course...how could I have been such a fool, Virgil you must be right, there has to be a way to free this thing." He turned to the Secutor. "In the name of the Imperium and the Inquisition STAND DOWN!! The Mechanicum has no say here! I am in command and you shall do as I say!" Davarus yelled at the Secutor and holstered his pistol. Davarus turned back to the beast, he noticed no real damage was caused and was relieved..."I....I am sorry.." He stammered apologetically to the machine creature. "I was blinded by my emotions, I only wish to protect my men." Davarus then waited for the Astropath. " What do you recommend astropath?"
<Cha'ka> The Kroot came out of no where, having returned upon hearing the Astropath's exclamation and realizing that he was not alone in his thought process, slamming the Secutor into the ground and kicking away his weapons. "If you move Secutor, I will remove your head." The two knives at the Secutor's throat had just enough pressure on them to show that the Kroot was not joking. "Allow the Psychic one to figure out what is going on, then I will release you."
Phoebus After dispatching the mutant in their path, Phoebus and Samuel charged forward. Nearly colliding with the Reclaimator. Both stopped on a dime, Samuel continued to lay down fire on the mutant behind them. "Well met Reclaimator, good of you to come. However your crevices will no longer be required in the reactor room. If you will accompany us, we will protect you as we return to the hanger we entered." Before he could respond, Phoebus noticed the open armory door on their right. His eye go wide behind his helmet, with excitement and opportunity.
OOC: Virgil feel free to make something up, as long as it makes sense and it is good I doubt Uriel will have an issue with it I hope i am roleplaying aspiring captain who makes brash mistakes but is an all around smart and good guy well... am I? lol also hope my kroot friend heard Davarus redeem himself xD
OOC: Sorry was out running errands! <Joseph Hall, Team One> The Vostroyan had stood by once things began, opening fire with his shotgun at the creature to little more effect than the others. When the call to ready a demo-charge had been made he had done so with such speed that the timer was set before Davarus could recall the decision, thankfully Joseph was swift enough with the device to disarm it though he kept it in hand imagining it would probably be needed again.
- Virgil, team 1 "This creature spoke of how it was 'born.' It was originally a crystal or energy based being. It serves as both functionary and power source for the machine it is encased in. If we can find it and remove it, the worms may stop producing. If they are neutralized and this being is free to go its own way... out of imperial space, then I think both sides would benefit."
Davarus 1st squad: "A sound tactical move Astropath, how may I be of assistance in this task?" Davarus liked this new course and wanted to see it through.
OOC: remember, he has some thick armor, mechanicum and all, so he is hella heavy IC: *the secutor screeched in binary once again, this time right in front of the Kroot's face, and then headbutted the xenos, driving it off of him and regaining his stance and picking up his chain axe* "back. away. xenos." *he then stood in a passive stance, both hands on the chain axe, almost as if he were using it as a staff, he showed no signs of agression towards the kroot or the xenos machine, for now*
- Virgil, team 1 "Be at peace servant of the machine spirits, we will have need of your mind. If we were building something, where would you place the power source?"
OOC: Can't be that thick around his neck if he can move it <Cha'ka> The Kroot landed on his feet, unphased by the noise attacks that were only serving to harm the other humans in the room. As he got back up he sheathed his knives and drew the hunting rifle, barrel towards the Secutor but not being aimed, such that if the Secutor made any aggressive movements, he would be dropped immediately by close range sniper fire.
