Davarus 1st squad: Davarus knowing it was too late to change anything the Secutor was doing unholstered his pistol and thought in his mind for the alien to hear. I am sorry, but it must be done. Davarus fired several bolt rounds at the machine and drew his sword just in case it moved. "Hall! Make sure nothing comes out of those cocoons, if it does, make it history!" Davarus was yelling in between the bursts of the Secutor's bolter and his own shots.

The Projectiles started to shoot chunks out, but nothing critical. Minor explosions occurred as some conductors or some sort were hit and exploded. Nothing was done to prevent it. Even the cocoons rather rotted than emergency-drop their brood. It was obvious that it desired anything but fighting. Furthermore it was Virgil who knew as only one about the crystal core which was embedded all that time ago.
Davarus 1st squad: Davarus felt a sadness for the creature, perhaps if it's young did not produce a dangerous influential effect they could have coexisted. But this was not the case. He steeled himself as he reloaded his pistol and fired more. "Hall!.....(he hesitates) plant a demo charge on this thing and blow this part of the cave, let us get off of this planet!" Davarus planned to destroy it along with the cave system or at least this area of the cave. He nodded to the guardsman for him to make the move.
