Their prolly be moments when the sister can be the better talker but she is battle born, undercover dudes just can play slimy better.

No we cannot, because they are actually relatively easily manipulated in comparison to Sororitas. Astartes are having (depending on the chapter) barely any connection to the Emperor and much much more to their Primarch, which makes them so vulnerable.

Sororitas see nothing but their endless zeal to the God-Emperor and believe to be his daughters. The Astartes however know (usually) that the Emperor is no god, they don't honor him as such. They are closer to regular humans than Sororitas in means of personality - but that is at least my opinion.

It depends what sort of sister. My argument is against Battle Sisters. Sisters of an Order Famulous would be quite good talkers indeed, because they study families, worlds, and all that sort of stuff. But a Battle Sister just does exactly that. Battle. At least that is as said my opinion - and the fact that the Sororitas have different arms (Hospitaller, Famulous, Dialogus, etc.) I would like to think that the specializations should be respectively highlighted.

Sisters even battle sisters get general all round education in te same fashion as Commissars and Stormtroopera which includes how to speak. Granted those specialties dictate how well what lessons took but are no means all barring. Especially if said person was special enough for retinue choosing versus normal cloister and sister squading.

I will say this on the matter of sisters of battle and let this be the end of that argument:

I will agree with Urian that a Sister of Battle would not make an excellent 'talker' due to Zeal (Can't fake-join a cult, as it would be too close to forsaking the Emperor's light), the matter that a Battle-Sister is not trained to act as a diplomat compared to a Sister from the Order Famulous who can act in that capacity and the simple fact that there's not much of a need to lie/negotiate in a Sister of Battle Covent, compared to Hive-scum who have a considerable amount of motivation to lie their face off.

So while a Sister of Battle is not as bad at social situations as our Vindcare and Space Marine (Who can be flummoxed by the bill at a restaurant), they're hardly going to win a personality of the year contest.

Heck I think the worse socially will be Firebat lol. I mean his world is terror and battle. Its gonna take work to make him deal with real people.

Name: Takeshi Yamada aka 'Silver Shroud'
    Age: 38
    Gender: Male
    Role: Ex-Hive-Scum, Ex-Enforcer, Mercenary Bodyguard

    Wargear:
    Power Maul
    Shotgun
    Suppression Shield
Carapace Armor + Enclosed Helmet (incl. Rebreather)

Appearance: On first glance looks like an Arbites Enforcer, but all symbols have been removed and simply left blank. His armor and coat are both pitch black like the night, only the trims being silver. It's supposed to be menacing as well as making him memorable for marketing purposes as a hired gun. He stands 1,80 meters tall (5'11")

History: While most would think that Takeshi took the equipment when he left the Enforcers, it was in fact a set of armor he... Found himself before joining the Arbites in the first place. As a Hive-Scum Ganger at the age of 19 he managed to kill an Arbites during a riot. He stole his gear and identity, working as an Enforcer by simply following orders and never talking too much. Since he was always wearing the helmet, nobody seemed too suspicious. Eventually after a year however it was noticed when during a riot he was knocked out and later on med-bay in the Arbites HQ they noticed it was not the man he was supposed to be within the armor.

The local Judge gave him the opportunity to join the Arbites or rot in jail for the rest of his life. Takeshi made the smart choice of simply joining the Arbites instead. Many abided him due to the fact that he was more or less a traitor. So he had been doomed of staying nothing more than an Enforcer and just bashing on people day in, day out. That eventually changed when there was a traitor incursion. He got a tip from his former gang leader that 'shit was going to hit the fan' and he left the planet with the entire gear, having paid off some Rogue Trader, and became a Mercenary known as the 'Silver Shroud'. Years later he found out that the incursion took the whole world down until a strikeforce of the Ordo Hereticus could purge them all.

Interesting enough, he never ended up working for traitors or such, more he was pretty much the opposite. Having often been a bodyguard for members of the Ecclessiarchy, Administrators and others - mostly on Hive Worlds. As a former Enforcer and Ganger himself, he got quite a whiff for those which are not up to any good.

Though his most exciting contract was just signed. Being a bodyguard to an Inquisitor.

    Name: Astra Rema Ventana Solarii

    Age: 22

    Gender
    : Female

    Role: Blank / Psychic Meatshield

Wargear: Belasco Duelling Pistol, Reman Caestus, Extremely Fashionable Robes

Appearance: Astra's heritage shows through her features – basically shouting out that she is a woman of noble origin. With pale, unmarred skin and a very gentle, svelte build, she does not appear to be made for physical exertion, and her fine features and large, bright green eyes communicate a somewhat mischievous, puckish personality. Long hair dyed neon red and worn quite impracticably seems to confirm this suspicion. It's rare that she is not smiling, and her body seems constantly tense, wound, like a brightly-coloured plastic spring.

The Reman Pariah does not have a trademark outfit; she tends to combine bright, clashing colours in her robes, and often wears multiple light layers of extremely fine cloth in various patterns that bite the eye. Extremely gaudy golden jewelry and gems complete this utter lack of subtlety or colour coordination.

As a notable constant in a sea of change, Astra's favourite accessoire is a long, slim reptile similar to terran varanidae. While it spends most of its time lazily hanging around her shoulders like a scaly scarf, it is quite alive and curious, often nuzzling and licking at things that come close within the Blank's dead zone or herself. A member of a species rated 'Tau', this beast (that Astra has come to call Pius after the mythos of the saint) is a relatively recent acquisition whose imperviousness to Solarii's blank-ness pleases her nearly as much as the fact that it changes to various vibrant colours depending on the local air humidity and temperature, a fact that ironically tends to offer great camouflage on the flamboyant noble's body.

History: Born on the Paradise World of Remus, Solarii is the sheltered and admittedly spoiled sweet daughter of minor nobility. Curious from birth, she often escaped her parents' sheltering in order to run through the forests, swim in the lake, and climb the cliffs. That the wild animals avoided her was something that would not occur to the girl until much later; that no guard ever came her way, or that her parents never seemed to catch or reprimand her for fleeing would never really make sense to her.

In fact, Astra would find out the reason for her sheltering only recently, when a dusk trip through the vast marketplace of her home city resulted in a mob of people sans friendly intentions. The heiress fled, and in fleeing, in asking for help, discovered two things. One, she really had never encountered any person in her life besides her parents and instructors. Two, nobody seemed to like her.

It was just the luck of nobles that led her right into the arms of Alicia Theanon, who just happened to be present when Astra ran for her life. Theanon, the Inquisitor, was able to recognise the Reman's gift and took her into her retinue to capitalise on her 'gift'.
