Seemingly still, for an observant almost looking as if the entire universe resolves around her. The not really might ship. Neither glorious. Fancy. Or anything else that could define beauty and prestige. It was simple. Black. Straight-Forward. Not ashamed of hiding it's equipment, it's scars, it's recent damage. And it was just the look it desired, so the machine-spirit approved of the condition. The ships damage has shown it was in service for the purpose it was built. It's lack of fancy decorations showing that it is not hiding behind a pretty mask, but get's straight to the point. The point that was it's main lance cannon. And despite the regular size and the regular features of a cruiser. Every living man and woman would know, they either die or live. There was no greyzone. There was no maybe. There was no reason to run, for it would just sway one even more that the body of the mortal shall burn. The word was justice. The judgment absolute. The arrival of the Justicar Absolutus was never a good omen, for it was the opening of the tribunal for an every citizen in the sub-sector it arrived. Dwelling sometimes for days, sometimes weeks or months. Even years, if it is required. None would escape judgment, one could only hope it was not Execution. "Another world. Another judgment." Andreas Richtenhoff eventually broke the silence and closed the holographic display of the sub-sector, so that the individuals within the room would focus at him. "Routine Deployment. Meeting with the Governor in T-60 minutes. Take note of everything. Decorations, Servants, Equipment, Clothing, everything. No sneaking around, we want to give him the confidence that we take his word for granted, gaining his trust and then start digging slowly deeper and deeper. Our reason to be here is one of the more interesting and outside routine missions." He sat down, knowing he hasn't informed anyone yet, not even his Acolyte. But that was usual procedure under this Inquisitor. To only let one know, when it truly became relevant, otherwise details get lost and his retinue would even be able to relax, due to the farce of being prepared for everything. Nobody ever is truly prepared for everything. After all. Nobody expects the Inquisition for example. "The report from the Ordo Astartes says that the chapter named 'Honoured Sons' has turned renegade. Their Homeworld has been purged already by a loyalist chapter known as 'Lords of Destruction', so we are here to see about one of their Recruiting Sub-Sectors. The Honoured Sons were always under suspicion due to their high use of Librarians and experiments with their gene-seed. In fact their Excommunicate Traitoris was declared after an Ordo Astartes investigation that revealed that their Master of the Apothecarion indeed had manipulated their Gene-Seed with Xenos DNA in order to create more potential Psykers." Andreas flipped the page of the written report. "The world here is known as Ulm. Primary function - Civilised World. It serves with a population of a hundred million as mining and garden world. One Half is covered completely in mines and forges. The other is a paradise. The reason is probably that the two continents are on the entire opposite sides of the planet. There are two other developed worlds here. One being an Ice-World named 'Sigma-Cell' that serves as Observation Outpost and Prison Complex. The other being a Gas Giant named 'Yen' with three huge orbital refineries that are anchored in such way that it is basically one big city. Moons are all dead due to lack of atmosphere." Andreas flipped the page of the written report. "Sub-Sector Governor is Kisuge Takada. Age of 293. Family quite a mix. Grand-Grandfather - Priest, Grandfather - Soldier. Father - Prison Supervisor. He himself got the Governors post due to his logistics skills in early age, combined with an Administratum career and the fact that his uncle was the Governor before him and liked the boy more than his own father. No wife, one bastard child - daughter. Currently in prison." The Inquisitor stretched a bit from reading the report, his voice turning a bit mono-tone as he gets bored from the content, so he closes the file and looks at his retinue. "Everyone is to go in ceremonial uniform, we make this look as 'Forced Investigation' in the sense of we make the Governor and the public believe we only do this because we have to. That is also why we are going to have a banquet at night with the Governor and his staff, I assume he will invite other important personnel, so connect with as many as you can, but don't make it obvious that you are doing it to investigate." He turned to his right side and pet the war-beast on the head. "That means no eating from the table." Andreas told the creature that transported his power weapon. The Inquisitor himself already had been clad in his ceremonial uniform. The Sleek robe in a light black or dark grey, however one may perceive with dark green trims. On his left chest were medals and honors expressed. From simple graduation of Acolyte to Inquisitor to entire campaigns he participated in. In total they counted fifteen, while his right chest was only adorned with the Aquilla of the Imperium. To express his affiliation with the Ordo Hereticus, a red/maroon 'I' hung from his neck on a silver chain. Commissar Rackham took in the information already dressed in his Commissariat Dress uniform, he was not keen on being planet side outside of his carapace armor, but if that was required he would do as the Inquistor instructed. "Understood sir." He sat back, lighting a cigar while he waited for the others to address any concerns they had. This was definitely a different mission than what he was expecting. He knew the presence of the Inquisition alone would cause fear. What could he possibly want him to find out? A regular line Commissar strikes fear, now they will have an Inquistor's Commissar asking questions. He guessed that the sheer fear could work in his favor.
"il wash the blood from my robes then" as sigmus spoke he stood there in full power armour his helmet in hand "commisar do you have anouther of them" pointing at the cigar "also i will warn you all if any of you are witches unless the inquisitor stops me i will kill any who atempt to get into my head"
Reaching into his jacket he offers one of his cigars. "No worries dear friend I will gladly share my stores. Hopefully I can find a fresh batch planet side." His supply was getting low and he could potentially get information that way as well.
Turning back to the Inquistor, "Sir what sources and resource will we have available to us planet side?" More than likely he wasn't the only one that was curious, but he was surprised at the lack of questions from the others so far.
Lieutenant Concord snapped to attention after the Inquisitor's briefing and gave him a nod. He walked away from the group and proceeded to his chambers. His standard uniform was technically his ceremonial uniform, but the one he had on was slightly dirty when he helped in the engine room and some food from breaking up a Armsmen fight right before they were called upon by the Inquisitor. He got to his quarters and took out a fresh new uniform from his closet. He fitted it on. It was perfectly clean and it fitted him quite well. His uniforms were a standard Imperial Navy officer uniform with a custom Iris Blue Navy Coat, with a Gold color lining and buttons. The buttons of the Coat were located more center of the jacket similar to many Sergeant-at-arms coats. He was sure to button the coat before he continued anything else, he didnt want his bad habit catching up with him. After most of the uniform was complete, Concord put on his Black Carapace shoulder pads, moved his power sword to his back, and moved his firearm to the side. All little details to show his Rank to any of the planets inhabitants. Finally he placed his Rank on his high collar and all other metal on his right breast, he hated the damn ribbons and metals. He had not got his Bionic arm or leg checked in a while. It would be quite embarrassing if he had accidentally crushed one of the Host's cups or utensils. One Bionic replacing his forearm and hand. The other replacing his shin and foot. So he decided to make his way back to the Bridge to find one of the Tech Priests.
"Not many since we cannot tell the relationships for sure. The local PDF and Administrators could help us in how far the Astartes had their hands in planetary business. The Prison Complexes history has to be researched to, I assume many of the prisoners were used for gene-seed experiments since nobody cares about the Prisoner scum. On the Refineries we could inquire information from the Magos, but I doubt there is any information of value since there is no sign of Dark Mechanicum presence, neither did the chapter ever interact much with them, or so the records say." Andreas replied relaxed, leaning back and petting the beast at his side a bit more intense. "Personally I believe the Governor is innocent. But those around him are poisoning him and make him do things he doesn't even see bad." Eventually was expressed, his eyes falling on a detail of his report on the table. "Taxes almost doubled since he took office, thirty years ago. We all know that the Administratum never would investigate unless the income is off. So in order to keep them away and perhaps even gain their favor, they would do whatever they can in order to improve production."
The minisorum priest Alcerus firmly puts robes in place and grabs tome of the emporer before leaving his room and carrying down the hall chanting and praying and carrying the incesne and censer whilst trying to run into contact with the others. The bulk of flak armor is easily notable under the robes and the evisorator isn't exactly hidden and neither is the FLAMER hanging by his side. The minister walks into the room containing both inquisitor and commissar. "God-emporer bless both you and your work inquisitor but if I may ask will I have to bring my weapons along or are we starting off using the carrot and not the stick ?"
OOC: Just so it's clear, everyone is in the briefing room or so I assumed "Since we try to be civilian. You may take the Eviscerator along, but leave them in a case on our Aquila Lander." Andreas answered surprisingly soft, Alcerus was too good of a priest to be angry with him.
