With everyone on the ship, the Inquisitor took her seat and seconds later, both Lighter and Valkyrie had departed from the Obsidian Wraith, descending down to the planet below without incident. On the way down, Alicia said (@DeranVendar ) "Boris, the code word for everything going wrong will be Firestorm. Hopefully, we'll never have to use the van, but it's better to be safe rather than sorry." As the two shuttles entered the atmosphere, it became apparent that the plant's radiation problem was so great that there was no exterior landing pads, both small craft having to enter the spire of Hive Vestera via airlocks big enough for shuttles. By the entrance to the rest of the Spire, there was the Governor ,Narthen Larqence who was a man in his 20's, dark haired, dressed rather gaudily, but not as distastefully as Astra, with the pale skin of someone who had never seen actual sunlight in his life. Clearly, he was trembling in his boots at the fact he was meeting an Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus and way too trusting of his chances of not being killed right off the bat due to his lack of bodyguards. As the shuttles touched down and the rear door of the Valkyrie came down, the Inquisitor was unfortunately unable to get out as nearly everyone else had taken the back of the craft. All Alica said about this situation was "Would everyone at the back kindly get out so that we can get Narthen's little meeting out of the way? I would like to get the formalites out of the way before I turn a century old."
The only way Ogedei could back up was to go down first and he did just so. Stepping down the ramp in couple of quick strides, the Khan quickly found himself facing the Governor. He didn't say anything at the start since he knew it was Inquisitor's job to do the talking, however he couldn't fail to see the man trembling. Placing his arms across his chest, he stared at the Governor with a look of open disdain. "Is there something wrong with the ground? An earthquake or something?" White Scar asked casually, "Or you have to go to the little boy's room?"
Fleet on her sandals, Astra followed the White Scar and bowed deeply to the Governor - but not speaking to him yet. Instead, she looked towards the Valkyrie's rear, waiting for the person she was supposed to shield to join them. It was obvious that the Pariah was aware of her gene, as she kept a bit of a distance to the man. The Solarii had seen the effects of her mutation on people, and did not want to provoke violence, especially not when she was wearing some of her own pricier garments. She eased her smile into a simpler and subtler variation, though, in imitation of her own mother; the excitement, however, could not be erased from her face entirely.
'Firebat' ghosted down after the Marine. He basically stayed in the shadows. Only his eyes revealed him. He was a wraith, a shadow, a will-o-wisp and it showed. No sounds came from this bringer of fire and brimstone. Though a smell of burnt death clung to his robes.
"Time to get the show on the road." Takeshi clasped his hands as he left the craft, grinning behind his helmet as he stepped out next to the living mountain who called himself Ogedei. "What the great Khan wishes to say is that you appear to be in fear, loyal citizen! But fear not, for the Silver Shroud has arrived with his mighty Unstoppables. There is no villain that can hide in this hive from our searchlights of truth! And if we have to interrogate an every man and woman of your staff, an every citizen of this world! I, the Silver Shroud in flesh shall see that no one who does evil shall prevail. Only those that serve the God-Emperor and the greater well-being of the Imperium can further exist. While those that turned their back to His glorious existence must be but all eradicated, with no exceptions, no matter how they have served until now, no matter to what position they rose, no matter of what rank they held and to which arm of the Imperium they belong to!" He announced in his vigorous, courageous, extra-deep and semi-threatening voice. After all Ogedei made it clear. This man was afraid. And there were only two kind of people afraid of an Inquisitor. Those that did something wrong. And those that are cowards. Takeshi could not stand either ones.
Sedric puts the cigar in his mouth and walks out of the ship in a orderly fashion and stands to the right of the over enthusiastic merc with a grin you can see clearly and keeps his hands behinds his back and tips his hat to the governor then stands up striaght keeping his smile as the cigar burns in his mouth
Wincing at the intense sunlight that came as the cargo-doors lowered,Adept Zeth straightened up his robes and as Inquisitor stood up,he disembarked, keeping his own counsel as he has so far. Two of his mechadendrites (explorator and medicae) were the longest of the six, namely longer then the young Adept is tall, and as such they snaked around him. Disembarking he drew the cowl on,taking the guise of humility, shrouding himself in the arcane-secrets of his craft as much as in the safety of his signature robes. Standing next to the Astartes,he glanced at the governor, fixing his glasses beneath his cowl.
Boris would emerged before their Inquisitor but after everyone else, presenting himself as the proud first born son of Vostroya that he was. Tall fur cap was practically air locked to his head, concealing both his allotted grenades within, while both arms were held rigid at his side. Coming to rest at Valkyrie ramp's base he turned sharply on his heels, stomped and gestured a hand into the hold. His smile was fierce, proud and perhaps even predatory. "Presenting the Emperor's own representative of his most holy Ordos, Allicia Theanon! "
With everyone having finally gotten out of the Valkyrie and made any announcements they wanted to make to Narthen, Alicia slowly walked out of the craft and said "Well, well, well. Looks like you happen to be aware of the only.... Appropriate response to His Inquisition arriving to judge this world." She wouldn't be that impressed with any early assumptions that the Governor was either a coward, for it could be argued that he was very much the opposite of a coward for having the guts to face her and her retinue alone or a traitor, who would try and hide behind aides, bodyguards and vile works of Chaos in order to escape her gaze. Not that any of that would help the Governor keep his underware from being inches away from being soiled in front of the Inquisitor and her retinue. With the man struggling to find any words to say, Theanon said "If you would be so kind, Ogedei Khan, SPECTRE-77, Agent 51 and K'tikathat will not be present for the banquet you so graciously offered, as they have other matters to attend to. So if you like to direct them to you aide after the meeting?" Narthen nodded, and stammered "Y-Yes. but a-any questions before I take you to the m-meeting room for the formal introductions?" Clearly, the guy was not having a good day, even after taking a few breaths to help calm down. @GoreWrencha @Shadhunter @Vulpas @Uriel1339 @Casavay @TechCaptain @High_Adept_Zeth @torque @Colapse @DeranVendar
'Firebat' had no questions owing to his job being clear. Burn the heretic and his heresy around him. Track, hunt, and stalk until even the cinders are done running cold. This red and burnt robe individual in burnt silver scales just stalked by the governor. " Just point out your heresy so it burns." amd stalked past. Waiting for the governor to lead the way.
