'Firebat' showed up silently from the shadows as the others entered in their own ways. "Even if he is heretic, he needs a population willing to follow to caused what we saw. I would suspect more of the holy men, since a Cardinal had already fallen."
"Don't you mean easier? A single shot and he, including his corrupted staff will face the light of righteousness in it's ultimate blazing glory. However, for once I have faith in the Governor. Like in our last deployment, it was not the highest up to be the tainted one." In agreement he nodded at Firebat.
Kais scanned the map, focusing on the Govenor's SS. After hearing what Silver Shroud said (the deceit part), she nodded in agreement. "I believe our best plan of attack would be to sabotage the shrine. The diversion would allow a squad to sneak onto the station, and surprise the Govenor." Her new armor felt odd, and tainted by the new looks, although she had no say in it.
The Scion analyzed the Hololith and it's contents to formulate his own two cents of cooperation to the discussion on what to do and what might be here on the planet. His eyes darted and focused on the points pronounced and labeled by the Hololith, he remained as a stoic, thinking obelisk as he began to form words for his opinionated thesis. He flexed his hands a little, oh yes, he smoothed his hair back as well before speaking. "From the previous encounter of this troupe, one would be weary on the susceptibility and manipulation-prone masses to heretical overlays, particularly, the cancerous cell at the peak of it all which can break the entire chain, an investigation of the shrine and it's staffing may be more than necessary. Investigation of the orbital residence is extremely necessary--- Heresy as well as corruption grow where it is not seen; It would be a rare occasion for the planetary population to tour the Governor's orbital domicile, rather it would only be seen by the Governor and close constituents-- leaving much room for heresy accompanied by corruption to breed." A mouthful. Votum nodded at his words to then look around at his comrades, awaiting response to the statements made by the Tempestor.
K'tikathat attends the meeting as ordered. The bandages still cover his chest, scars oozing tissue fluids over the time as the body repairs itself slowly. Showing such weakness before Inquisitor might be foolish, but considering it has been only three days, normal people would lay on hospital bed hooked on painkillers. Expect the wounded people of this retinue attend the meeting normally, their bionic limbs apparently not affecting their daily life. Maybe humans are the superior race after all, loosing limbs is like cutting nails to them; K'tikathat grunts. He glances at Kais and Takeshi. The Firewarrior became the loudmouth Arbites pet? Neither act like he has classified such archetype as 'firewarrior' or 'arbites'. K'tikathat isn't sure who is playing who or are they both playing him. He doesn't know either of them, so he can't speculate which one is selling their beliefs, but personally the Tau interests him more. She was mystery, her existence an enigma. K'tikathat quills raise slightly.
"This time Takeshi, I cannot give everyone a direction to start looking due to a reluctance to provide aid from the Governor and so our search must done from the roots. And if anyone is expecting it to be as easy as Verdan Prime, it's highly unlikely that whoever resides at the heart is as big a fool as the Cardinal was." The Inquisitor said, folding her arms before continuing with "While as a starting point we know of a Shrine and therefore one area of the planet that would indeed attract attention of a Cardinal..... It's not as if he was considerate enough to tell us who else we need have words with. Also, the Governor has already complained about this being the second time this week that the Inquisition has paid him a visit, so he should be considered a secondary focus." Having heard both Pierce and Takeshi, she was just about to get on with detailing her plan of attack to this problem when Kais suggested to damage the Shrine and use that as a distraction..... That drew a deathly glare from the Inquisitor, but she wasn't going to take it further as the actions involved in making the Tau suffer would be a disgrace to Marlex and his teachings, and the fact if she was back in the role of being an Interrogator under Marlex, Boris would have shot her for even voicing her ability to do it. So she said "Kai, if you ever voice a plan involving defiling a holy site again, I will find an appropriate punishment for you." The Inquisitor paused and then said "As for a plan of action, we're checking in with the governor first, to get a good picture of the situation planet-side and also for a quick check up on him. But our priority is finding who corrupted the Cardinal and so after the check up on the Governor, we start our hunt at the Shrine and go from there. And finally no heresy that we find along the way is to be considered too small to be above reasonable punishment. Any questions?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @High_Adept_Zeth @Shadhunter @DeranVendar @TechCaptain @GoreWrencha @Uriel1339 @Verticus @Vulpas @Coffeechipmunk @Colapse
Kais shook her head. "No questions, I apologize, Inquisitor." Humans seem to be deeply connected to these shrines, I should avoid them at all costs, she thought. She bowed in apology.
@Maleth | @Coffeechipmunk The Silver Shroud stepped before Kais in a protective way. "She has still much to learn, and I will see to any punishments if required. Beyond that statement I have no questions. None can escape the light of truth, the light of the Beacon of mankind, the God-Emperor." The Enforcer said with a lowly nod and put a hand on the shoulder of his prodigy-to-be, whispering to her. "Do not worry, just stay with me and follow my lead. Remember. Do not become human, but learn what they value, how they act, what is important to them. This was your first lesson."
"K'tikathat stay out of sight this time?" Kroot asks, finding new ways to butcher the low-gothic he calls language. He didn't care about the accident he caused last time with Cardinal, but he didn't feel tempting fate with Inquisitors patience second time. Causing more trouble to her than good is fastest way find oneself stranded in middle of who-knows, in best scenario. The firewarrior hasn't yet made connection between humans gods and Ethereals Greater Good. There are some doubts about her stance as well. Have you forsaken your beliefs, fire caste?
Pierce nodded. "As orderd inqusitor, Will you require me to disguise myself possibly for this mission to make sure my presence and skills are not known to the governor and anyone on the world?" Pierce asked looking to the inqusitor as he began already thinking of his kit he would be bringing.
